Yes, you're right. But the last part of my post remains. I'm troubled by a Commander in Chief who thinks that the rest of the world needs to be our example. In this age, it really troubles me. But then again, so does Bush. I hate this election.

Before he;s in office and really knows what the hell is going on, the Kerry team is saying that. Please don't say s*** like this until you know what the hell you are dealing with. That's my problem with Kerry. The guy doesn't KNOW yet, but promises the world that inaction from the US is the best policy. CRIPES. That is so dangerous. Let's take off the table a nuclear weapon that we might ACTUALLY USE? Holy s***, why else do you build them?

Two comments from last night's game: One - Critic is right, you have to give those guys credit to even force game 6, let alone 7. Two - I thought it was REDICULOUS that they had to have police in riot gear out on the field. Kudos for the umprire crew FOR GETTING IT RIGHT. :fyou Arod. What a dumbass. But I guess you have to try sneaky s*** like that when the wheels are falling off, eh?

There are ways to remove all that stuff, but I shall never reveal my secrets.

This one's a hard one. Maggs has been undoubtedly one of the best Sox we've had in the last four years (except his injury this year). Always went about his business. Then, out of no-where, the lying, cheating, screaming, kicking, greedy Maggs showed up. Where did that come from? The Sox have such a bad rap when it comes to integrity and treating the players with respect, hence why it's rare a free agent comes here (whose name isn't Freddy Garcia, who is practically family). For once, I think the Sox are actually on the up and up. Let's just hope that they can get someone in here that will (almost) match the consistency of Maggs pre-injury.

Is it smart enough to find archived web pages way down deep in the hard drive or does it look at temp internet files folder? (aka when you delete your cache the history is gone)?

One other note: Kerry, in his tax proposals, has proposed to increase the medicare tax from a cap (meaning you don't get taxed anymore) of 89,000 (or so - I don't remember the cap right now) to approx. 130,000. So... no tax increases on the folks who make less then 200,000? Uh-huh. I'll find a link to back this up - I was reading this last weekend...

Yea, my internet connection is f'ed up too. Damn it. And I can't get ahold of anyone for tech support. I'm not a happy camper. I have wireless internet but my router doesn't work on the hard wired computers. Go figure.

Yea! I'm back online, sort of. Now I just got to get everything re-secure. And I still can't post from work. f***ing assholes.

This election I think will hinge (DUH) on what happens or does NOT happen in the next 30 days. I fully expect somewhere, maybe not on American soil, but somewhere, something to happen... much like the Madrid Train bombings - trying to effect the electioms here. I also think that one of the two candidates is really going to mess up. I don't know which one, but both are capable. I just wish we had someone real to vote for. I just registered last week to vote (yea, the day my internet logs were pulled at work... boy such criminal activity there).

I haven't been around to comment about the debate, but BUSH SUCKED BALLS. Period. And you all know my view on things. That's all.

I remember when we went on one of those airboat whirlly dealies (see, my language is a lot different then yours, hehe) they were talking about the efforts to actually let the everglades gain back some of their water tables from years past. One of the biggest contributions was a non-native tree that was brought over that sucks up all the water in the everglades. They are now going back in and trying to kill the tree, but it is extremely difficult to do so because the spores on the tree spawn new trees very quickly. So, is that partly why the everglades are losing water, and of course combine that with the advancement of drainage efforts so we can build our houses on what used to be swampland... ugh... When a hurricane (or two or three of them) comes along and dumps all that water in there, it's naturally polluted, right? The habitats, from what I see you say above, can recover and in fact there can be some new habitats formed because of the shift in the ecological system... This is some pretty cool discussions.

Let me be clear, it's not about the use if the internet. I'm cool with that. I'm NOT cool with all the lying that went behind it when I directly asked. It's their computer, and as such, they can ask me to do and not do as they please. BRAVO! Just grow a pair and tell me the truth. That's all I ask. It's just really really frustrating and I wish it weren't.

Now I'm home today - so here's the story. Basically I told my boss on Monday night that the lack of respect shown to employees who are busting their ass is at an all-time low and something needs to change. The example that happened Monday night was the executive assistant played my boss in front of my employees, was really s***ty about something AFTER HOURS about something that needed to be done. I had company in from out of state, so I couldn't stay until 7 like I do most every other night. So after she was s***ty, I told her "that was it" for the shannanigans. She got pissed and had the IT guy run my internet logs - because there were people "talking about me being on there too much". Meanwhile, my boss was logged on my computer and frankly, I think he lied about why. IMO, he was on there so that our IT guy could go in and get the logs as an administrator. The executive assistant ran her mouth and the whole office knew I was "in trouble for internet abuse" before my boss had ever talked to me. So I went in and confronted him. He said that he trusted me... and I proceeded to tell him that is what you call trust? What bulls***. The funniest line in the whole thing was "I wasn't even going to say anything to you about it" OF COURSE NOT, that way you can just continue to run logs every time you want with out me knowing! Dumb ass. So now, an example is being made of me in the whole office. And, we have to log our activities in 15 minute increments in a journal to be handed in to my supervisor every week. Yesterday I went in to resign and he wouldn't accept it. I told him that I was going to look, so get ready, because I am not staying there anymore, seeing as how when they "trust" people they run their internet logs without just straight up telling them what's going on. On Wednesday, the IT guy was on my computer at lunch. They installed a monitor that looks at keystrokes and activity. He called in yesterday and proceeded to tell the receptionist that "I was pissed"... the only way he would have known anything was either to read what I sent via email, or talk to my boss, either way, he violated confidentiality - and that is exactly what I talked to my boss about and it happened AGAIN right away. Oh, by the way, the IT guy is the CEO's (aka DICKtator's) brother. Now. I think they are out to get me because how dare I upset their little apple cart. f*** 'em. Now my boss has soxtalk.com's url - he'll probably read this. Note for you workers and managers out there. The truth will get you farther ahead every time. Lies and deceit is what this crap turns into. Good example of how NOT to manage a company. Anyway, I have this morning to take it easy, and this afternoon I'm working from home. Needed a break. Why the hell am I typing all this on here? See ya...
