  1. I bet if Jeff Burton were there hitchhiking a ride you'd remember.
  2. I've had issues on certain things that I create overlaying audio tracks over a video in WMM as well. Use Adobe Premeire. That rocks. Helix Producer is pretty good too, (that's RealAudio which can be converted to wmv)
  3. Did you hear that on Rush? :rolly
  4. Bingo Tex. It's sad, there is an employee of mine that is struggling with actually the same things I am struggling with here. But she gets it worse. I had to have a chat with her on Friday on not making quick decisions on not leaving here, but if she chose to I support her and her efforts on getting another job. Then yesterday I had to basically tell my boss that *I* was sick of the lack of respect from our CEO and others in the office. It's pretty hard to counsel someone beneath your level on the same things when you're experiencing the same thing. This company is a hard company to work for, probably the hardest, even companies that moved to Matamoros from Indiana, and an airline in bankrputcy, etc etc etc. I've been through some tough places to work but the lack of respect here is frightening. I always try to give the utmost respect to my employees and my boss, but the utmost respect has to be earned. Too bad people can't learn from that.
  5. LMAO. Tex, you're a mess.
  6. Um first of all that is NOT the correct path of the hurricanes. I'll just stop there.
  7. Yep. I stand corrected there. Soooo. 2001-2004. Better?
  8. crrrrrracccccccccckkkkkkkkkkk... DUDE. We NEED A SOLID ROTATION, not 1 through 4. Look where that has gotten us the last four years. Yes, that includes 2000, when we got killed in the playoffs because #1 through 4 were overworked because of the lack of a fifth.
  9. Sooo, I don't have black and white glasses on all the time, when I see something that I disagree with. Interesting. I commended Jose on a great attitude, and now I'm "DUMB" just because I didn't like him as a shortstop on this team? I think he was a part of the problem of a team that has the third year in a row of second place finishes. ok. I'll let it go, but I also praise guys when praise is due, I don't just bandwagon the s*** out of everyone like some here do, and that's why I asked the original question. And actually I was joking with my original response.
  10. First, a clubhouse nightmare. No one cares for him. Second, remember that little "I love the Twins" bit earlier in the year that came out in the media? It would be like signing up Mike "thriller" Jackson, a buddy buddy of the Twins... only worse. I can't think he would want to come to the Sox. He's a self-admitted Twins lover. Other then that, go for it. Maybe all I have here is rumour and innuendo.
  11. Gosh, I was actually nice and you had to go and flip me off.
  12. ROTFLMAO. That is hysterical.
  13. roll over. sit. stay. good girl. Sorry, you had that one coming. The door was open so I had to shut it. (door slams in background).
  14. Sure it does. But if we don't get this pitching staff shored up, all those other holes don't matter. You can NEVER win more then 4 games in a row (point of this year).
  15. wow. You just don't get it. Let me ask it another way. Would you rather have a major league pitcher that has been there in the last four years which would solidify your starting pitching from top to bottom or a washed up reject or brand new kid coming up from the minors as your fifth starter every fifth day? Any questions?
  16. I'm a big basher of Jose, I never really liked him here, but I will agree with every one of you, he went out there and did his job no matter what the consequences were, and that is to be admired.
  17. Because there is a big difference in the talent level of a John Garland then a Felix Diaz right now - and for that matter a mental confidence, one big inning brain farts included.
  18. are you kidding me? The point I'm trying to make is if he gets into that fifth slot, he'll have more confidence. He's not going to lose more then he wins, assuming all else stays the same (no injuries, etc). Where Garland gets in trouble is tough situations. If he can go out there as a fifth starter and gain that confidence, bye-bye Judy, and he becomes that much better and more competetive.
  19. Oh, I think it would - assuming pitching staff stays healthy and he consistently is slotted as a #5. It would allow for that one inning brain fart to be covered up a little more often, and he would just rock and roll with the confidence of going out there and knowing that the hitters can overcome that mistake. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy IMO with Mr. Garland. Confidence is powerful.
  20. Apparantly it is brain surgery. Would you rather have Garland as a fifth starter, who will go out there and kick most other team's fifth starter's ass (assuming somone competent replaces him higher up in the rotation) or Grilli (or other [get me a fifth starter plug here] pitcher?) If Garland is our fifth starter, he wins 16+ games next year. Book it. If he's a 3 or 4, he's back to like now (whatever his record is) - sorry don't have time to look it up.
  21. No. I kinda get the feeling that is a dead duck. It's too bad because they are a really good company.
  22. That's all well and good, but then what happens, seeing as they have all the power.
  23. My beef is going around making policies for everyone in the company except yourself. That's bull s***, always has been in my book. If it's a corporate policy, it should be a CORPORATE policy, not corporate to everyone but the CEO. Damn, I better stop posting from this computer.
  24. His little b**** ass is going to win. Just jokin' Minny.
