September 22, 200421 yr They moved it up two weeks. Yes they did, probably didn't want to have it conflicting with the superbowl again. Either way I already can't wait for soxfest, it's always a blast.

September 22, 200421 yr There's something incredibly sad, though, hearing about these things while baseball is still being played. The last game of 2003, the announcers made the usual "Our next broadcast will be..." announcement, only this time it was of course in March. Why? That was a bitter pill. I just want some closure to this season, then I'll look forward to the offseason. That's not to say that it won't be fun -- just something I've been thinking about, that this reminded me of.

September 22, 200421 yr Very cool. I want to go the whole weekend...last year I just went Friday. My friend and I stayed at the hotel last year for it, absolutely awesome time, I really can't wait for it, to bad it's so far away.

September 22, 200421 yr Author A splendid time is guarenteed for all! Soxfest is awesome. Hanging out with other Sox fans and meeting people you have only talked to on here is a huge part of it. Admission is minimal, and you get access to the players and coaches for autographs and informative clinics. I highly recommend it. /Sox Shill

September 22, 200421 yr Couldn't make it anyway, even if I wanted to go. Daughter's birthday is right around that date, and we always have the family party for her on the closest weekend. Either way, fan conventions are just not my thing. Smells too "Star Trek" for me....
