  1. Interesting. We all knew that at some point this would happen. It's what happened in the early 90s after the economy busted back in the 80's. It's all part of a cycle, but it's a dangerous cycle.

I think that's misleading too... One thing that Kerry should not get taken to the carpet over... and that is a tax policy. I hear conservatives say "with John Kerry your taxes will go up". What political BS. WHO STARTS THE SPENDING BILLS AND THE TAX CODE? CONGRESS. It's misleading as hell to sit there and say that John Kerry is going to raise taxes. Congress will raise taxes, and Kerry will sign it. I hate it when they use misunderstanding of our government to pray on falsehoods.
  3. I don't blame you for how I vote, or choose to vote. I'm not that shallow. But to clarify, I look at your idealogy for why I vote the way I do. It's misleading as hell to sit there and say that the Hitler ad that Bush did was directed as an oroginal comparison against John Kerry, when it is simply a REPRODUCTION OF A DEMOCRATIC AD (moveon.org) to state that we don't need this sort of BS out there. Now... if it were me, I wouldn't have done this ad. I think it's tasteless to claim to be above the fray and use the garbage against Bush and use that same thing for his political gain. Tasteless. Again. Read it again. It's tasteless. But the Dems came up with the ad in the first place. No one is stupid enough in the White House staff, no not even Bush , to make that comparision FIRST. And while I'm at it, you haven't been reading closely enough. I criticize Bush a lot. Some of his policies are flat out BS. The medicare bill is pathetic. Some of the loopholes in the tax law are ludicrous and frankly hypocritical to the platform he ran on in 2000. I know about that stuff, it's my profession. I somewhat question Iraq, but given the choice of drawing those people here vs. them all in that arena, I choose there, even though there's a lot of innocent people being damaged as a result. But to me, the good outweighs the bad of being over there, so I support what's been done enough to stay the course. But cw, I never, ever, see you criticize a Democratic national figure. It's called blind support, IMO. Just once, I would like to see what you would change about Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Charlie Rangel, etc. etc. etc. etc. Do you see my point? And yea, we all better start prayin' for the Sox... they're gonna need it this weekend.
  4. Really? All those trades and free agent signings that were made in the winter has really helped us. You know, the ones that we were all b****ing about in the winter? Yea, THOSE trades. Look, I'm not saying that he won't come through. He still may. But as of now, TODAY, he has not done a damn thing to improve this team from the holes that we all knew from last September that needed corrected. So woooooohoooooo, he got rid of Botch. So what? We got rid of a headache and has done NOTHING to get anywhere with what we need. Having said that, I know he had to move that contract to accomplish other things. But folks, July 31, you got two months left of the season. At this run rate, this team will be 6-8 games back by then. You want him to wait that long?
  5. WHAT A JOKE! People... go watch this for yourself... www.georgewbush.com The ad was SIMPLY REPRODUCING DEMOCRATIC ADS AGAINST BUSH. And you have the audacity to say that BUSH is at fault? Who the hell started it? It is simply replaying the ads that the Democratic party has used against him, and at the end he says that optimism and not negativity is what we need. Now, cw, you come on here and slant your post to make like this is something that Bush did on his own. The Dems did it first! I love your version of half-truths. Absolutely sickening. Your post, and dammit, you are smart enough to know this, was intending to say that Bush has an ad that has Hitler and Kerry in it at the same time... but did you really say what the ad was? That's misleading as hell and you did it on purpose. That's the stuff that makes me sick because your side can NEVER admit when they are wrong. I candidly wish that I didn't have to vote for Bush, but posts like yours and your views and others like you tell me how delusional liberal thinking has become.
  6. Where is this running? Is this hearsay or did you see it for yourself?
  7. Let me take this in a totally different direction. Please tell me the "mistakes" that Bill Clinton made?
  8. Uh oh, I have to agree with I4E! He hasn't done jack. Not to say that he won't but judging this year so far, as it exists TODAY, he's not doing too well. Trying doesn't do crap to a team, only results do. Hopefully that changes in the next week or so.
  9. First, it was a joke. But I will say this before I leave the topic. Seriously, who the hell are you to judge me or anyone else around here about their intellect? You don't know me, I don't know you, and I would not say that you are intellectually inferior to me and be serious, because I don't know. But, anyone who is a so-called "intellectual person" doesn't have to run around a message board telling everyone about how much more intelligent he/she is then everyone else. That should speak for itself. /rant over and no more responses from me about it.
  10. I certianly am not rich, but a vote for Kerry at this point scares me a lot more then Bush, and that's saying something, because I think Bush's radicalism is damn scary.
  11. The day it ain't, we're all in trouble!

Criticism is fine. Acting like a raging lunatic to play on people's emotions is another. Bush's "my way or the highway" is pure BS, and I think it's dangerous. I disagree with our president on that. I'm criticising him. But I'm not standing in front of a bunch of people, screaming my fool head off about "Bbbbbbbeeeeetttttraaaaaaaaaaaaaying MMMYYYYYY CCCOUUUUUNTRYYYYY!!!! (screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech). Therein lies the difference.
  13. f***ing Idiot! There. I feel better, because after all, you're intellectually inferior to me...

I swear... If algore was elected, do you think he would be perceived to "polarize the country" on the issue of 9.11? You don't think all these politicians have some sort of "relationship" with "bad people"? They are all scumbag, whiney, political gain farkups. ALL, not just Bush, ALL of them. I get so sick of the onesidedness.

That truck picture is hi-lar-i-ous. People not from down here just don't understand, do they Tex?
  18. This is why I have a unix server.
  19. That's BS. I don't care if you're on a shared server or not. The server (hardware)has to be a piece of crap for as little bandwidth as this generates. 100 Gigs a month is not that much.
  20. Thoughts? I agree that the Sox, playing MMQB, probably would have been better to stay the course last year, or was it better to go for broke?
  21. I'm not calling them World Champs either. All I'm saying is that the Sox are not as good as the Cubs RIGHT NOW. Facts are facts and some people need to learn to deal with reality. It DOESN'T mean that will be the case come September. I'm out.
  22. Let's cut to the chase here, shall we? You don't think that Al Queda had any dealings with Iraq? They were in Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, the Phillapeans (spelling sucks but I am in a hurry), Malaysia, etc, etc, etc, and hell, IN SOUTH FRICKIN' FLORIDA! But they weren't in Iraq? Excuse me? That's a load of s*** to think that they didn't ever have connections of some sort...
  23. Last time you looked, that was last year. There is no comparison of talent between this year's Cubs and this year's Sox, ON PAPER. I know, the games have to be played on the field and all that BS. Without the Sox goggles on, let's have this for an excercise. With the rosters of today, going into the playoffs which team would you pick to go the farthest? I am NOT saying that moves cannot be made to rectify, but TODAY, the Cubs are better, PERIOD. I hate it, we all hate it, but that is the facts as they exist today. That might change if KW has some freedom to fix some things.
