  1. oh no... another WMD discussion. They're up GW's ass. Who knows? But did you see where N Korea is backing down now, bigtime?
  2. THIS explains everything!!! Thanks for all that, we need to say no more on this topic.
  3. $ell Jerry $ell, and DIE Bill DIE. Isn't he like 953 years old? It's probably the alcohol that's pickled him.
  4. I guess the only "bright spot" is that let's think back to last year. We had Colon, Buehrle, and everyone thought Garland would have his breakout year to be the solid 3 starter. Who was gonna be 4 and 5? Out of nowhere, through a couple of mechanics changes, here comes Loiaza. So, let's just hope that Garland has his breakout year THIS year, like Loiaza, and the 4 and 5 gets around 10 wins. That makes the Sox pretty competetive assuming Buehrle is an 18 gamer, Loiaza 15, Garland 15, and 10 out of your 4 and 5. You want your starters to win you 60 games and everyone else on the staff to get those 25-30 wins mid to late innings. If these things happen, the Sox are strong challengers. I hold out that glimmer of hope that someone else will break out - NOBODY expected Loiaza and so maybe there's one more of those somewhere in the organization.

    DVD Help

How strange. The last option when I close my dvd is it "makes ready for playback". I haven't had any problems like that. Some dvd players do have a hard time with copied dvd's (more of the older ones). Are you sure that you have the right decoders installed for playback on your computer? That's all I can think of right off the top of my head.

    DVD Burning

Too late. Besides, I don't make ILLEGAL copies of anything! It's for training videos and scouting tapes. So I burn lots of dvds for that stuff.
  7. Also, of note, after installing another one of these boards for another site, there's a crapload of scripts, smilies, and avtars you can get. So, ditto... give me a shout if you're interested.

    DVD Burning

Considering I almost make my second living dealing with -/+ R and RW: there's a lot of facts I can share with y'all. 1) While Comp USA has good deals on their brand, every once in a while you will run into a spindle that is bad. Bought four 50 packs, and I'm sitting here looking at about 25-30 coasters. But that was one pack out of 4 - 25 out of 200. Not good odds, but not bad either - just be careful. 2) + media is not compatible with as many players as -, but + is a better copy - the encoding is slightly different. I hope that's something you can take my word for, I don't want to bore you with the differences right now. 3) If you have +RW media, if you have a AV input on your pc (firewire can work if your input device supports it), that's an AWESOME hookup - you can burn anything straight to DVD without going to hard drive (TV programs, video tapes, whatever you want. I've got a kick ass computer system for a website I put stuff together for, and I've learned lots of tricks about this stuff (and still learning!!). So if you guys have questions, PM me and I'll be glad to pass on what I do or don't know!
  9. fan? If they got rid of the freakin' owners, I might be. Not that I'm bitter or anything.
  10. What do you get when you cross Isreal vs. Palestine and the Hot Chicks Thread (besides a hell of a lot of posts)? Oh nevermind...
  11. I'm with Steff. It would seem that this horse has had the poop kicked out of it and then some. However I will say that this has definitely been an eye-opening "debate".
  12. That wasn't my point. You can be head of the class from Harvard (or name your best college/university) and still be "f'ed in the head". It's not your education, Einstein. It's the way you portray yourself. People have had far less education then you and I or others and they may be well versed in things that we're not. It's our experiences that define us, not our "education". And I respect those "less educated" all the same. To spew such hatred shows your ignorance and laziness for actually seeking the truth. Don't you owe it to yourself to open your eyes a little? Here. Let's hold hands and say "I (my people) can take a little blame here." Awwww, doesn't that feel better? It's the first step toward recovery, you know. Until you stop answering questions with questions, talking about how it's ok to kill (without regard) or be killed, and some other graceful statements you've made, you portray yourself as very "uneducated". And since you forgot more then we will all together ever know, I guess it really doesn't matter much, does it? To repeat a phrase, Shalom.
  13. Yea in the New Orleans game he didn't play most of the second half either. So I don't buy that. I don't disagree with Ray Lewis being more valuable then Jamal, but there's no way Payton's not an MVP either. If there were to be a "co" I'd say Payton and Ray, not Steve McNair. Payton deserves this for this year. That team is .500 at BEST without him. Same goes for Ray and Baltimore. (well they almost were, so maybe not that good). That's a real MVP.
  14. get lots of "snoopy juice" - that's what my dentist calls the numbing stuff.
  15. All I know is, if that "TOOL" (that should be his official name on this forum from here on out, hehe) is going into the HOF, then there sure better be some other folks as well that are "forgiven", dead or not. "TOOL" - :fyou
  16. You beat me to it. wow, this is a big trade, and a good one on the surface for the Knicks.
  17. I've stayed out of this one, but not anymore. I4E, you were ok until you had to go and make that last statement. You remind me of a business partner I had a few years back. You can always tell everyone how freakin' educated you are, but if you have to resort to that in a forum such as this, you're actually nobody. You don't know a thing about me, and I guarantee you that I'm going to be an uneducated, Jew hating bastard for saying anything against you. I will only say that I am at least as educated (from a college standpoint) as you. You don't need to know anymore. A person's education can do one of two things for them. It can open their eyes to see that not everything is black and white, and to dig a little deeper and not accept "truths" that are stated. Or, it can harden someone like yourself to become a fool and relying on your "education" to not seek out what is reality - in other words, you rely too much on your "law school education" and become lazy. If I had to pick one, I'd pick the second choice about you. Why? Because every time someone has asked you to back yourself up with facts, you spew the same BS. You're lazy, you really don't want to really work to help change our minds on this issue. As for my stance - (only the surface), the "Palis" are indeed led by (at best) a hypocrite who led (and continue to lead) them to a path of destruction. Isreal, and their people, as God's chosen ones are probably more right then wrong in this. But again, they are led by MAN, and MAN is infallible - not 99.9% of the time, 100% of the time. Period. Take the frickin' blinders off, man, and buy yourself a clue. The first step to being as smart as you think you are is to admit that there is ALWAYS (at least) two sides to every story. And if you want to redeem yourself, go back and REALLY answer the questions that have been asked of you in these (now 42) pages. Then maybe you'll have some validity and prove your "law school education".
  18. That's right, I stand corrected. They were doing very well that year - until the cross-town games. They never recovered. But I do stand by that they better get a good start (better then last year) and they need to have a positive attitude. You can't win the playoffs in April but you sure can lose them.
  19. Every year in recent memory, except 2000, this team stumbled out of the gate. Then about July, they all decided the weather was warm (or whatever lightbulb clicked) and decided that they needed to play some baseball. I think with this team, questionmarks and all, it's all about the start to the season. If they play well through May 15, no matter what their roster says, it'll give them confidence and they'll do well. If they're doing well, and near or at the top of the division, KW will make trades to fill in gaps to make us competetive toward and maybe even for the post-season. It's going to be all about the attitude coming out of the gates this year, IMO. The Royals started off like firecrackers last year and faded in September because they didn't have the horses to finish the race. The Sox have better ponies then the Royals had last year. (I'm not talking about 04 Royals - this is going to be a better team but still I like our chances if we can play well early in the season). It's going to be tough, no doubt about it. But confidence can go a long way, and we'll see if Ozzie can be a better motivator then "Peace" Manuel.
  20. I live in Dallas and I can't stand the Cowboys. But I do have to agree that calling them a fluke is a bit harsh. They did as good as they could with the talent they had. Period. No more, no less. Parcells, as much of a crazy ass as anyone, at least gives his guys confidence week in and week out. The man finds his teams' strengths and coaches and builds his team around it. He did it all year and this team was never a threat to go deep into the playoffs, but they were a playoffs team this year more then anything because they believed in themselves.
  21. Oh yea, forgot to say - this is in Quicktime so if you don't have that go download it. Haven't had time to convert it to windows media. http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/ Download it from there.
  22. Here's a clip. I uploaded it to my server for simplicity's sake. This is pretty funny. http://www.4sportspage.com
