Time to become an annoying fanboy and start pimping the back-court of Dominick James, Jerel McNeal, and Wes Matthews...

Bobby clearly didn't have 'it' tonight. We're lucky to get out of that inning going to extras. We're in a pretty good position with our bullpen, too. McCarthy and Haeger can both throw some innings. I'd bring in Logan, actually, as our next 'high leverage' reliever, ie if we get a chance to save the game.

FWIW, the NESN gun has Bobby at 94-97.

Yeah, at this point, I'm not going to complain about runs. I've realized that, if we are lucky enough to sneak into the playoffs, it's going to be really ugly. Lots of 8-6 wins, lots of homers. Get used to it... Embrace it.

Ehh, I don't really have a problem with what they did. Try and get Manny to chase a bad pitch or two, and then go after him. Unfortunately, Manny's eye is as good as Frank's, so if that pitch is even a half an inch off the outside corner, he's not swinging.
