i rarely paid anything living at home and going to college except when i got my assoc. in a private school, but even then it wasn't really that much--350/semester iirc. but i have a disability so that opened an avenue or two of funding that is not available to most. throughout college, both at rmc and uis, i even had books and supplies as well as gas mileage paid for...
