He'll be 29 before Spring training starts and yes, your right about his chances slimmer, but your wrong about the chances of him improving. There's always room for a player to improve on a specific area. His stats are still not consistant enough to make a valid judgment on his numbers for the next season. Like I said earlier he reminds me of Carlos. I bet nobody in here could guess how many K's CLee would get this comming season. The same goes for Byrnes. He just had his first full season in the bigs (I count 500 ab as credible) He'll have time, and the same goes for Crede (or Cruddy as you like to call him A.J )

Yes, that's the only downfall in his game. Eric reminds me of Carlos. One year he'll walk a good number and K less, (03'-400 ab) the next he'll walk less and K more (this year 500 ab) I think he is more suited as a super utility man (hits lefties very well, and plays all parts of the field, and you can shift him with another player) The thing that impressed me about eric is that he hit .283 at both home and on the road. That's pretty good considering how Oakland's park is very big and the road is alot tougher to hit at. He still hasn't even had a break out year yet. I'd take him on my team anyday.

If we got Byrnes at all I'd s*** my pants and put my face in it. He's my second favorite non-sox player (Baldelli, Byrnes, Furcal) goes all out on every play, and just helps his team win at any cost. He, and Rolen I have deep respect for when it comes to playing the game. He's one the most underrated players (esp. devensively) in the game right now.- Beer Quiz!
1. Old English 2. Colt 45 3. Icehouse Eh.. Don't really agree with the quiz. 2/3 on this list I've never tried..- Luis Castillo

More than likely, one of Bmac/Anderson/Sweeney are gonna have to be in the deal IMO. They are not too far away and Oakland does need an OF when Dye is gone.- Election Night is here...

I'm not a fan of both, but considering how crazy Bush is, it's pretty simple that I don't want him running this country again. But since there will never be a Clinton-like opponent, I can just :puke for eigher (even though Bush cheated the last election) Kerry is more for the people, whereas Bush will turn on you. That's how I see it. Both are idiots, but if I had my say (and I'm old enough) Kerry is the guy.- Election Night is here...
