  1. Annnnd it's gone. Wendell Carter Jr. and Daniel Gafford suffered injuries in first day of camp.
  2. I wonder what the Mets would want for Dominic Smith. Was a former top spect for them and was considered the future at 1B before Pete Alonso destroyed the minors and majors and took his job. I can't imagine them playing him at LF, especially with his foot issues. Fangraphs had a good article about him finally starting to figure it out back in June before he got injured. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/dominic-smith-is-hitting-himself-out-of-a-pinch/
  3. That rainout screwed the Sox. I fully believe if that goes 5, Tigers probably would've won and we'd be picking 10th. But hey... we can thank Ricky for playing guys like Castillo so much down the stretch that he had enough big hits to effect games.
  4. Yea I was just about to edit my post.
  5. JD? And Wow. EDIT: Dickerson.
  6. Love this kid. NBA season is here!
  7. Savant/statcast. His curve is actually the high number not his change and his change is slightly down (they have them both flip flopped from '18-'19 so that's probably where the confusion is.
  8. Unbelievable. Was almost assured I would lose because he had Boyd whose had a very good season so far and only needed 6 points to beat me. Boyd got 4.80 points. I won by 1.72.
  9. I would say Alex Wood if our analytical team was up to par. His spin rate numbers (in a small sample size) with his curve and change were down considerably compared to years past.
  10. Does this mean he'll still need surgery in the offseason? Usually when you hear about a "tear" in a ligament that usually doesn't fix itself.
  11. Before Machado became a FA, the Sox tried to trade for him and thought him being around "their organization" would make it easier for him to sign an extension. I would hope they would learn from that mistake.
  12. I'll take it with a grain of salt for now (Twitter is usually 50/50 with these things) but it's disappointing. He was on the sideline for the game today supposedly.
  13. Would make sense given Nagy being so discreet about the "personal matter" and Roquan being on the sideline in the game.
  14. I wonder how many Kaepernick to the Bears articles we'll see this week.
  15. Defense is so damn elite. Can't commend them enough with the guys out and such.
  16. Vikings should've no huddled long ago. No doubt I can see other teams doing this to the Bears D when they look at the tape.
  17. Kwiatkowski and Nick Williams playing the game of their lives.
  18. Fall on the fucking ball Floyd!
  19. Pineiro is money.
  20. Love that it was Daniel running the ball too on that design and not Trubisky who is the much faster QB in games prior. Nagy can be a bit much sometimes.
  21. On his way to being the greatest defensive player I've ever seen in a Bears uni. No disrespect at all to Urlacher (was too young to remember Dent, Singletary).
  22. Bye bye 10th pick... 11th it is most likely.
