He has way more of a clue than Vieira. I like Cordero quite a bit. If we were in year one of the rebuild, I'd stick him at closer to enchance his value. I actually think he'd be good at it. For now, I like him as another arm back there.

I've already accepted the fact he is what he is in that perspective. Kid is never going to be patient. If he continues to hit for a high average however, I'm cool with it. He holds enough value in his bat alone to be a positive player. It's the glove I question.

It's training camp. Beat writers and meathead raido guys in Chicago don't know what certain guys are working on, whose running the wrong route(s) etc. Seems like a silly thing to get worked up about. Mariners plays the Padres, Rays and Tigers the next stretch of games. I see two very winnable series there. Pirates on the other hand have a shitty stretch of good teams coming up.
