Thorne is such a beauty.

There was a quote Stiever had in another athletic article that said up until he reached A+, he had hardly (if ever) seen any analytics and mostly credited his season by knowing what he should throw in certain counts and when.
-
Which is ridiculous and also not surprising wuth Reinsdorf who hates analytics. Not sure if Getz, Hahn, Faber, etc were in his ear about it, but it was completely dangerous to decide on a rebuild and not have the proper equipment, data, etc to do it. Luckily this Mickey Mouse organization is starting to finally catch up (albeit slowly) with the other teams.

Exactly why I don't want him resigned. Nothing to do with him per se, but due to Ricky's incompetence.

He is literally Yeyson Yrizarri. I just don't believe the bat will ever catch up to the glove.

Was he the guy he said he'd put on him if he doesn't pan out? I remember there was a guy that was drafted that he loved and he said people can put it on him if he doesn't pan out.

To be fair, @ron883 did say WASN'T a jagoff. So technically he was right.

Jose Rodriguez hit HR #8 for AZL.https://theathletic.com/1093092/2019/07/29/his-father-won-a-world-series-but-could-ozney-guillen-be-the-prototype-for-the-modern-mlb-manager/?amp#click=https://t.co/YZ1TLNVsLL It's non Sox related as Ozney is in the Astros organization, but it's a fantastic read. Didn't know Joey Cora was very big on analytics back before the league caught on (and another player listed who wanted to kick A.J.'s ass lol)Good. Let Ruiz develop more in AAA. I can squint and actually see a good reliever down the line.I am throughly enjoying the Mets magical run right now. That was a terrible AB.Goins has a weird tendency to make his errors at the worst time.Oh you know it was a BOMB.He'll never learn.Basabe 2-4, 2B. He has really been swinging the bat well lately.Stay hot Timmy.Robert honestly looks bored to me but he could be a bit tired too.Don't say some of us tried to warn you people...
