  1. Hahaha Yolmer knows how to take one for the team.
  2. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 08:05 PM) Blow the whistle!!
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 08:02 PM) Win or lose, tonight was a great game based on how Lopez looked Tremendous start for him and his future.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 07:59 PM) what a scumbag Donaldson, Stroman, Martin, etc. Easy team to dislike.
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 07:58 PM) One pitch away, damn Still alot better than he typically was last year. Great to see to start.
  6. Donaldson is still a hot dog I see.
  7. Lopez showing some fatigue (velocity isn't as high) but still battling.
  8. Yolmer is just a glorious defender.
  9. I know Abreu said he wants to run more and steal bases this year, but less is more sometimes Jose.
  10. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 07:45 PM) Lopez is starting to miss his spots. Usually does around this time. Innings like the 5th-7th all year will determine whether Lopez will remain a starter or be an elite reliever in the future.
  11. Timmy just shut up Baron right there.
  12. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 07:30 PM) Alright, the 5th inning on is where Lopez typically struggles. Like Gio, I wanna see Ricky stick with him if he gets into some jams. Good for the development. Here we go.... QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 07:36 PM) Here we go, not nearly as sharp as early on. Haha missed ya brother.
  13. Heh, Timmy is a guy I'll probably not trust when a pitcher has a no no going. Still remember he botched Miguel Gonzalez master piece last year.
  14. Alright, the 5th inning on is where Lopez typically struggles. Like Gio, I wanna see Ricky stick with him if he gets into some jams. Good for the development.
  15. Haha that was Jon Lester-esc right there.
  16. Great AB from Yolmer. Sox easily could have 5 walks this game.
  17. Hell of a career from our former rivals. Explains why it looked like Patrick Sharp was congratulating them when we played against them a few days ago.
  18. QUOTE (daggins @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 07:18 PM) Kind of, but its also frustrating that he still can't lay off breaking pitches in the dirt. Baby steps. Can't except the guy to all of a sudden have a Moncada type eye up there.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 07:18 PM) Davidson also seeing pitches He's definitely another one I'm keeping an eye on. Saw his postgame interview saying he was more excited for the walk than the homers the other day. He gets it.
  20. Though he struck out, Timmy has worked alot of 3-2 counts in the early going so far. Great to see.
  21. Good lord Beef killed that!
  22. Nice take by Moncada there.
  23. QUOTE (kwolf68 @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 06:22 PM) WOW. Finishes that inning off with a filthy slider. Good googley moogley this kid can bring it. Like most of our kids it's all about the command. I don't think most people worry about Lopez the first 3-4 innings. It's the later ones he struggles or loses his stuff. Hopefully that'll be the big development for him as a starter or not.
  24. That was nasty Lopez.
