I like Lavine alot and he's exciting to watch, but he should not be getting that many shots off and Markkanen only 7. Bulls need to incorporate Lauri more in this offense not just him. He should arguably be the #1 option, at worst #2. I'll reserve complete judgement until I see Dunn out there with both of them, but when I see bench players getting more shots off... not good.

Looks like the Hawks are gonna be in the lottery this year (which honestly might be the best thing for this franchise). 4.5% odds of the #1 pick and rising.

QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Feb 8, 2018 -> 10:23 AM) This. I'm totally on the boat that McDaniels is a scumbag for leading the Colts and his assistants on but the Colts got ahead of themselves as well. Ballard from some accounts is kind of a slizeball too. Who knows though.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 6, 2018 -> 08:25 PM) Add Porzingis to the list Torn ACL.. Brutal. Knicks are definitely keeping their 1st round pick now.

Wow... thank you Robin Lopez. That ejection changed the whole game. Great loss for the tank.

Kings are so bad the Bulls could put Payne, Felicio, Zipser, Blankley and Arcidiacono out there and still win. Too bad too considering Magic won which would severely help the Bulls if they lose tonight. (At least Pelicans lost and Denver won so that helps their other pick) EDIT: Lopez trying to single handedly help us though.

Good for Todd that he's staying in NY.

BP 101 lists 8 White Sox Prospects
QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 5, 2018 -> 04:28 PM) Just keep in mind entered league a year older than Tucker. He's already had his age 20 season (at two levels lower than Tucker) And Ryan Sweeney was already in AA (about to reach AAA) at Rutherford's age. Point is, noone knows how this kid is going to project.

SuperBowl LII
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 4, 2018 -> 09:37 PM) I don't blame them for overdoing it after the season we just watched. Fix that rule this offseason. Nowhere near the James catch or even Zach Miller's.

QUOTE (fathom @ Feb 4, 2018 -> 09:22 PM) Collinsworth might as well have been Bergman announcing the ALDS in 2005. What a disgrace He was awful. He and Michaels reviewed that Ertz touchdown catch way too long.

Gotta start rooting for teams like DEN, PHI, DET, LAC (although that's unlikely) etc. now. Want that NO pick in the 10-15 range. I won't get greedy since 6-10 is highly unlikely unless someone decides to pull a Tanya Harding on AD's legs..

I doubt LeBron comes here, especially with what his bff Wade has probably said to him about this FO.

White Sox interested in adding a DH
QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 1, 2018 -> 04:17 PM) Why add some veteran slugging DH. Let the kids bat and if we lose, we lose. Can't believe I'm saying this, but 100% agree with you Greg.

I feel for him, but that article I just read makes me feel better that the guy has his head on straight.

Personal Top 5 wants for the 2018 Draft
QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Feb 1, 2018 -> 09:08 AM) I personally have Beer pegged for one of those like 4 Royals picks between the first and second round (assuming Hosmer and Mous sign elsewhere). Was thinking the same thing. They got like 15478964 picks this year. I'd be shocked if they don't explore that route if their scouts like him enough.
-
2017-18 official NBA discussion thread
If LeBron goes that route, not only will he completely tarnish his legacy, but all of the tanking teams (and good teams in general) can just forget about competing in the next 3-4 years anyways.

I am almost positive this guy was the Phillies closer back in '16.

Personal Top 5 wants for the 2018 Draft
We'll see Caulfield. Like I said, willing to bet on that. And I'm on a LHP bandwagon. Lacking severely in the farm there.

Personal Top 5 wants for the 2018 Draft
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 31, 2018 -> 08:43 PM) For now. The scouting world is divided on whether he sticks there or not. Obviously, his father filled out and played 3B for most of his major league career, mostly with the Expos and Cardinals. I'd bet quite a bit he stays there. Not alone in that assessment either.
