  1. Alright, the 5th inning on is where Lopez typically struggles. Like Gio, I wanna see Ricky stick with him if he gets into some jams. Good for the development.
  2. Haha that was Jon Lester-esc right there.
  3. Great AB from Yolmer. Sox easily could have 5 walks this game.
  4. Hell of a career from our former rivals. Explains why it looked like Patrick Sharp was congratulating them when we played against them a few days ago.
  5. QUOTE (daggins @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 07:18 PM) Kind of, but its also frustrating that he still can't lay off breaking pitches in the dirt. Baby steps. Can't except the guy to all of a sudden have a Moncada type eye up there.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 07:18 PM) Davidson also seeing pitches He's definitely another one I'm keeping an eye on. Saw his postgame interview saying he was more excited for the walk than the homers the other day. He gets it.
  7. Though he struck out, Timmy has worked alot of 3-2 counts in the early going so far. Great to see.
  8. Good lord Beef killed that!
  9. Nice take by Moncada there.
  10. QUOTE (kwolf68 @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 06:22 PM) WOW. Finishes that inning off with a filthy slider. Good googley moogley this kid can bring it. Like most of our kids it's all about the command. I don't think most people worry about Lopez the first 3-4 innings. It's the later ones he struggles or loses his stuff. Hopefully that'll be the big development for him as a starter or not.
  11. That was nasty Lopez.
  12. QUOTE (Lillian @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 12:41 PM) This is likely irrelevant, as he isn't going to go #4, but Beer has homered in each of his last 4 games. He now has 10 and his average is up to .284. He also has walked 25 times, in 95 at bats, so his OBP and Slugging Percentage are very good. Where do you think he'll be drafted? Probably one of the Royals 1356743 sandwich picks.
  13. Ha, then Avi promptly grounds into DP and Abreu strikes out.
  14. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 2, 2018 -> 09:45 AM) We don't exactly get their 5/1/2 because Stroman pitched yesterday, so we'll miss him I'm sure Tim Anderson is happy. No doubt we'll likely see the fireworks with those two later on in the season though.
  15. Only the Bulls.. Only hope now is Mavs somehow beat Wolves (highly unlikely) to have a chance of at least the #5 spot. Otherwise, best I see them doing is #6 (barring lottery odds of course).

OOTP is where I learned Steve Harnden is the greatest GM of all time.
  17. Story of legends there. Scott Foster. Awesome.
  18. Tim Anderson with a WALK. He's doing it all!
  19. Ok Shields.. get through this inning and I'll be happy.
  20. Tim has that finish swag after he knows he hit it out Lovin it.
  21. Holy s*** Tim Anderson!
  22. 2 BB for Delmonico.
  23. My surprise/darkhorse pick off to a fantastic start.
  24. Ok Shields, gimme 5 innings with a goose egg and I'll be happy.
