Wow.. Detroit actually won tonight. I repeat... The Detroit Tigers actually won tonight. Giants fans must be ecstatic. Phillies and Mets tied at 4. Bottom 8th.

To dumb it down, Phillies HAVE to win their next two games (and the Sox to lose the next two obviously) to leapfrog them for 3rd. As I said a while back, I think we're going to be set at #4. Only the Reds I can see screwing that up if they continue to suck.

Phillies are playing just as good as us. (fortunately or unfortunately depending how you look at it ) I wouldn't be surprised if they take 2/3 or sweep. We'll see how the Sox fare the rest of the series.

Giants and Tigers are probably fighting for #1. Phillies are probably going to be at #3 barring a major collapse (they've been winning as much as us so I'd bet they will be set there) Sox and Reds will fight for #4.

Absolutely ecstatic for Jose Quintana. One of my personal favorite players ever. That guy deserves to pitch in the postseason. With that being said, I hope he and his team get bounced round 1.

I laugh anytime people get happy when the Tigers are in the lead in a game. They can be up 5 runs and I still wouldn't doubt they blow it.
