I'd like to start a large 30 team deep Dynasty league (message board in conjunction with Fantrax)

 

Something like 25-30 major league roster with 15-20 minor league roster.

I'd be interested. I run a dynasty league so I'd have some helpful insight. If you do it through ESPN (my recommendation) the rosters only max out at 40. Also, I wouldn't limit the amount of MLB players and prospects. Let each owner decide what they feel is more important (Build for long term or a win now approach or somewhere in the middle).

I hadn't thought of that. I might go that route, I'm still coming up with the exact setup and am still in between Fantarax and ESPN (leaning towards fantrax right now).

I did the optional this year for a 10 team keeper league I run and we got 8 I think to buy in. So I'm still debating on the free vs optional.

Yes you would keep your players every year and there would just be a "new player draft" each year for minor league players

WOW....so we'd be drafting minor leaguers? Basically our own prospects. I love that idea. With me finishing up post graduate schooling and retiring as hockey coach of my younger son's team Ill have some time to build the necessary logarithms and detailed analysis to be somewhat competent in this.

Miss the OOTP days. Had some good times with a few here (Slav, wite, heads, steve, dbaho, badger, zoom, etc) with that. Have an itch to do it again myself.

Would you do the lineups weekly or daily? I would be interested if it is a weekly lineup.

Yeah, I'd only be interested if there is a fee. I wouldn't keep my interest in a free league since I'm in other money leagues. Also, I'd vote weekly
