Sox vs Det, Lopez vs Jaye
QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Sep 16, 2017 -> 06:25 PM) I love what speed can do for a ball club. So glad the Sox moved on from the station to station lineups. No reason why this team shouldn't be top 5 in SBs in the next year or so.

When you see the damn batter walking back to the dugout that should tell you something.

Sox vs Det, Lopez vs Jaye
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Sep 16, 2017 -> 05:42 PM) There was no doubt Moncada was scoring on that, got to love speed. Can't wait till he's completely healthy next season. Love that he's swinging a lighter bat now.

Sox vs Det, Lopez vs Jaye
Moncada RBI single. 8 game hitting streak. Abreu RBI single. 6-0 and counting.

Sox vs Det, Lopez vs Jaye
Timmy 2B. Love that he's staying hot. Hanson RBI double. Jaye is legit terrible so I highly doubt we're losing this game.

9/15 Kanny game #4
Gotta feel for Davis. He's gotta be distraught. 2 bad outings in a row.

Sox v. Tigers @ 6:10PM
Fulmer pitches well, Moncada goes yard. Fantastic loss.

Sox v. Tigers @ 6:10PM
If Fulmer suddenly turns it around... my goodness these next two years are going to be exciting.

Reverse Standings Thread
The Phillies are pretty much having the same benefit (or "situation" depending how you look at it) as us with their young guys contributing. They don't have the young pitching we do but they have the young bats (Hoskins, Williams, Crawford, Herrera). Nola is already solid on the pitching side, Pivetta is taking his lumps but has a solid K rate and they just called up Arano. I personally think Detroit is worse. The Giants are the biggest enigma to me. No way should they be this bad, yet here we are.

Trade avi in the offseason?
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 15, 2017 -> 07:39 AM) Avi's BABIP may regress, but I also think he will be hitting more homers. I don't think anyone expects him to hit .333. But if he hits .285-.300 and hits 25-30 homers, he's a lot better than anyone thought coming into this year when people were upset the Sox gave him $3 million and weren't giving Rymer Liriano a shot at playing. It was Willy Garcia (who I still personally like alot).. but your point stands.

2018 MLB Draft
QUOTE (GenericUserName @ Sep 14, 2017 -> 10:27 AM) One guy who I want who I think will be in the second round area is Alek Thomas. He is an CF from Mount Carmel HS in Chicago, he is part of the White Sox ACE program, and I believe his dad is the director of conditioning for the White Sox. Yes he is. Good looking prospect.

Yoan just hit a homer!
Looks like I picked a good game to miss. Like ss2k5 and I said weeks ago before the Ron thread, not worried at all about Moncada.

Yolmer Sanchez Appreciation
QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Sep 11, 2017 -> 01:00 PM) I am happy to say that when the choice between Micah and Sanchez came up, I chose team Sanchez. Ditto. But I was extremely biased because I've liked Sanchez since the Futures Game.

Are we allowed to get nervous about Moncada at this point?
QUOTE (ron883 @ Sep 8, 2017 -> 10:33 PM) He has looked completely and absolutely lost so far. Time to start worrying yet? I'm sure as hell worrying about him. I know he is young, but I have a good eye for baseball and I'm not liking what I'm seeing. We have to hope he is like buxton and turns it around at SOME point. LMAO.

Mets, Tigers won. Reds lost. A's and Braves losing. Phillies just put up 3 runs in the 9th. Down 11-10 to Nationals. (not optimistic there though) EDIT. Phillies lose.
