  1. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 14, 2018 -> 02:54 PM) Blake Bortles is clutch? I don't trust him against a Belichick led Pats team at all despite the Jags D. Brady might be walking to another Super Bowl.
  2. Fernando Tatis Jr looks pretty good.
  3. Fangio is back per Biggs.
  4. I actually prefer Arizona's d-coordinator. Arians supposedly urged Arizona F.O. to promote him to HC and not lose him. That's how much he values him. Plus he grew up a Bears fan.
  5. Props to the Bulls and their FO for putting together the Mom's trip. I know some teams in the NHL do it (Blackhawks of course were one of the firsts to do it) but being the first NBA team to do that (and judging by their snapchats, players LOVED it) I can see other teams copying it. Just a fantastic idea.
  6. Good guy in the clubhouse. Welcome back my Mexican brother!
  7. Dauphin must feel like Jeremy Morin. Love the deal.
  8. https://mobile.twitter.com/BHTVeric/status/...229529388933123 Wow... nice trade for the Hawks (depending on the other pieces not being too crazy).
  9. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 10, 2018 -> 11:57 AM) "Starlin, we know you dont want to be a part of a rebuild. So we are trading you to the White Sox"
  10. Not sure which one shocks me more. Quenneville actually having the balls to scratch Seabrook or Erik Gustafsson actually wearing the Indian Head again.
  11. Regardless if he called the plays or not, glad he didn't throw his mentor Andy Reid under the bus in any way. He was nervous, but very honest (maybe even to a fault).
  12. Fitting it was Mel Tucker as the d-coordinator for the Bulldogs who called a cover 2 on a 2nd and 26. We Bears fans are use to his incompetence.
  13. Not sure if I believe it considering Nagy's interview was after the loss the next day and he would've had to prep DURING the playoff game. Who knows though.
  14. Cody Franson was also waived. One less slow defensemen for Quenneville to play now.
  15. QUOTE (zisk @ Jan 8, 2018 -> 12:07 PM) I like luis gonzalez. #3 pick last years draft. Started a little slow but finished strong. Great pick. Liked him alot coming out.
  16. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 8, 2018 -> 11:09 AM) If he is the guy that did the play calling in the first half against the Titans, he might be good. If he is the guy that did the play calling in the 2nd half, he might be bad. Supposedly, he was the one who called plays first half, but who knows. Don't base your judgement on him on one game though. FYI, Lovie Smith when he was the D coordinator for the Rams, allowed 452 yards in his last game before the Bears hired him. Also Nagy has facial hair (stache). That's good juju for Chicago championship teams right there.
  17. Love it especially considering Andy Reid's coaching tree. Top 3 on my list.
  18. I find it interesting Logan Taylor is our fastest baserunner now after Moncada's graduation.
  19. QUOTE (pablo @ Jan 8, 2018 -> 10:37 AM) Also - is it a little bit concerning that our 2017 2nd rounder is in the top 10? That's like the old days when whoever the Sox drafted automatically made the top 5 prospects. More of a sign that BA likes Sheets or that BA doesn't think our system is as strong as some of us think? Meh, only Adolfo was off the list who some here had pegged as a top 10 prospect. Whether you think he's better than Sheets is up for debate. I wonder if Burdi didn't get injured if he'd be up there too (although he likely would've graduated like Giolito, Lopez, Moncada, Fulmer etc).
  20. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 8, 2018 -> 10:15 AM) Probably in the protocol he should have had to have gone to the locker room, but as someone who has been grazed right above the eye in a basketball league, I had the exact same response. I actually was cut and needed some stitches, but initially I kind of walked away from it thinking I was injured but OK, then staggered, and knelt down. Then I was fine in a few seconds except for the bleeding in my case. Being concussed didn't even come to mind. I'd buy it if he didn't have a visor on (and squint with both eyes, not just the left) And it wasn't like it broke or snapped off either. Unless the dlineman put his hand underneath the facemask, I just don't see it. Could be wrong, but I'd bet Greg's house.
  21. Yea not Burger fans and make very good points about him. They love Dane Dunning though.
  22. Buffalo owns the 21st and 22nd picks in this years draft and they desperately need a QB. Bears are kinda in a limbo considering Rosen, Darnold and maybe Allen are gone by the time the Bears pick.(Mayfield and Jackson left plus whoever shoots up the draft boards in the combine, QB or another position prospect) We need all the talent we can get, but if they're able to swing a deal with Buffalo for both 1st round picks + other picks... I say pull the trigger.
  23. QUOTE (ptatc @ Jan 7, 2018 -> 01:15 PM) These are 2 really bad quarterbacks. Yea I think it's safe to say unless their defense is legendary (ala 2000 Ravens or '85 Bears) neither team is going anywhere.
