QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 7, 2017 -> 11:51 AM) if Coats was a highly touted 19 year old like the guy you are comparing him to, you may have a point. Was just about to post the same thing.

What low-key Sox prospect are you most excited to get a chance
SoxAce replied to bmags's topic in FutureSox Board
I still have a spect crush on Matt Davidson, though the spect light is about up. Still like him. Jordan Guerrero was my guy before it became cool. I hope that kid has a great year and gets a late callup. -
Props to Levine for actually breaking something. It's been a while for him.
-
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 5, 2017 -> 03:25 PM) I don't think they were aggressive with him at all. They definitely were, especially with a Juco player. Amazing to me he's held his own as he has personally.
-
I know he's in a small market, but how in the hell is Westbrook not in the top 5 in all star voting? That guy is fun to watch.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 4, 2017 -> 12:49 PM) Outside of the lack of talent at the QB position, I've been quite happy with Pace. Same. One of the few bright hires this organization has done.

QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jan 2, 2017 -> 09:38 PM) Jimmy Butler is making it really hard for the Bulls to trade him. 52 points tonight. Absolutely hate that they are wasting his prime like this.
-
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 2, 2017 -> 02:39 AM) Yeah, that would be Brady. Dude is gonna win the mvp and he missed the first 4 games. 11-1 record, 28 tds with only 2 picks? I'm completely shook on this one. Depends on you ask. You'll have the crowd who will say Rodgers never had to cheat to get his accomplishments which is completely justifiable.

So I guess Jeffery is staying? https://mobile.twitter.com/AdamHoge/status/...674682447892480

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 1, 2017 -> 03:39 PM) Depends on how much job security he has. If he's trading for future year picks he better be confident he doesn't need that first round pick to save his job after 2017. And I find that ridiculous cause Pace has been far from the problem other than people ripping him on not drafting a QB (yet). It would be a very Bears thing to do however. I think what really got my blood boiling was Loggins and company admitting they had no idea that Jordan Howard was this good when there were people even on this board (I believe Rock was his biggest fan coming out) who said he should be the starting RB from day 1.

QUOTE (Con te Giolito @ Jan 1, 2017 -> 03:36 PM) Leonard Floyd was a puzzling pick as well, especially with the trade up. .... and he was damn good this year as a rookie. (Giants were probably gonna select him next before Bears traded up)
-
QUOTE (Con te Giolito @ Jan 1, 2017 -> 03:32 PM) Bold prediciton: none of those players will be drafted by the Bears. Pace has a little "smartest guy in the room" in him. Other than Kevin White, he's been very good in drafting guys so far.

With the 3rd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select ______________ ?
-
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 1, 2017 -> 12:50 PM) They are bad enough to lose while putting up a good effort. Penalties, turnovers, bad tackling, you have to question if this goes on for the rest of the game if it costs Fox his job. This might be the only game they've played that they look like they've quit on Fox. Jets have been doing it for 5 weeks now.
-
As long as Howard, Whitehair, Meredith, etc. don't get injured, this should be the best possible outcome for the Bears.

I think I put up those numbers 2 or 3 times in NBA2K back in the day.

She's done.

QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Dec 29, 2016 -> 02:43 PM) Apparently when you turn 84 you just die. Yea I thought that was a weird post as well. Condolences to that family.

QUOTE (ptatc @ Dec 29, 2016 -> 10:14 AM) It's fairly rare that a knee injury will not allow 100% recovery. The only one really is a significant hyaline cartilage injury. I was gonna say. Its a torn ACL. A couple posters here are acting like the kid completely shredded his knee or had a more serious injury that he'll never be the same again in some aspects (ala Jared Mitchell). -
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 28, 2016 -> 05:58 PM) Figure Kruger will be gone in the expansion draft. He or TVR most likely. I think Kruger is definitely tradeable though.

QUOTE (shipps @ Dec 28, 2016 -> 11:01 AM) He wrote that yesterday afternoon though. He and the Score keep on reweeting and reposting on FB. Gotta bump up that post count somehow.
