Viciedo...
QUOTE (Phil McKrevice @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:45 PM) I think what he was saying is that he wants you to reread your original post and rewrite using sentences that make sense. Who are you? Meh.. not wasting my time... QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:45 PM) No, I didn't understand what you were trying to say...you mean you can't believe we have a player on the big league club that is 21...I gotcha...I just didn't understand what you were saying. Ya I caught the glimpse after I re-read it. Your forgiven Mark.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:40 PM) I like this also cause this means Thornton probably gets the night off barring a collapse. God dammit Sergio....

QUOTE (IamtheHBOMB @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:41 PM) Sergio was warming in the pen, Ace. Read my post again. I know, I like it (the 2 out RBI hit by Lillibridge) cause it means Thornton is getting the night off.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:38 PM) Huh? If KW doesn't wind up trading him while his value is high to get say.. a bat for instance.. that's huh.

QUOTE (BFirebird @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:36 PM) Wasn't he a decently high pick as well? He was but to be fair... the Pirates organization (well at that time) was one of the laughing stocks (and internally) in the MLB in regards to their drafting philosophy. He was a pretty good prospect though.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:32 PM) Said it after the very first game. Not sure about the 40 homers, but hopefully he can be a 25 home run, 40 double, 100 RBI player. In our ballpark.. I can see 30+ easily actually. Now 40... we'll see. Still can't believe he have a guy who is only 21 though. Seems like it's been forever, though I believe since Sweeney. (Hudson and I believe Danks just missed) That is of course... if he isn't traded.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:23 PM) I think we all gave up Lillibridge for dead and never believed we'd see him in a White Sox uniform again. I didn't but thought more-so pinch runner maybe defensive replacement (though his defense hasn't been that great in AAA though his bat in AAA was very good oddly enough) strictly utility. Never thought a hitter but like I said before.. you can't judge guys on sample sizes in the bigs. QUOTE (joejoedairy @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:25 PM) lillibridge has been insanely clutch the past week or so. I think he's had more clutch hits than Juan Pierre has all season. But I won't rip Pierre as a player, because he's awesome!.....

BTW, fantastic call by Ozzie putting him at DH tonight. Exactly what I wanted prior to the game. (and Quentin getting another night off)

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:01 PM) Hunter is 7 for 16 in steals. Yikes, attach an anchor to him. We'll take it though. Haha Alexei blushes.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 09:11 PM) I'm sure it's BS. Or maybe you're right. Maybe LBJ wants to be the third highest paid player on someone else's team. Yeah, that fits the profile. Haha.. well if LeBron signs with Miami, then your credibility as a poster is shot dead anyways. But hey... no pressure bro.

I still think were getting LeBron. I said it yesterday and I'm sticking to it. I'm out till 10 pm though guys. Hopefully this thread won't balloon to 300 pages when I get back. I see the guys FA thinking. LeBron/Boozer and Wade/Bosh. The next great rivalry of the NBA to challenge Kobe.

Fathom is going to be "estatic" to hear this news. BTW, anyone know Boozer and LeBron's relationship? I believe they played in Cleveland together at one time. Man I love Taj Gibson comming off the bench. Great to see a nice low post P&R presence for Rose to feed assist off of. Boozer might suck at defense and is older with cause for injuries, but he's strong and has a great basketball I.Q. Deng will probably be gone hopefully as he just isn't the best fit for Derrick whereas Boozer is. Give me an injury prone guy who at least pairs with Rose better than someone who doesn't as much.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:54 PM) 2) Lebron comes to a core group of Boozer, Noah, Rose. No trades needed. Pulls could potentially keep Deng as SG/SF for line up of Rose, Deng, Lebron, Boozer, Noah. Not a chance. Deng is gone if LeBron is here. That Portland or Magic/Clippers deal will do just nicely. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't mind seeing Bayless at SG if it came down to that though I don't like short SG. Insane athleticism on that kid though.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:50 PM) This contract is going to be laughably bad by the end of the deal. Hopefully they land Lebron. Ya I'm not looking forward to the last 2 years of it, but it had to be done, and seeing him and Rose P&R (EASY assist for Derrick) for the next 3 prime years of his will be nice. Also we finally get a lost post presence which seems like forever now we've lacked. But.... it won't be even 1/8th as bad as that Joe Johnson contract.

Well we got Carlos Boozer. Hopefully LeBron takes notice.
