The SoxNet twitter says "With the leadoff spot filled, Kenny has turned his attention to the middle of the order and we are told he's close on another deal." any ideas as to who?

You're not supposed to call anyone douche's. Or assholes. Or s*** for brains.
Unless you're an admin.
Naw, I understand why you'd say what you did. I equate Harry Reid to the same standard you all do Lieberman.
My apologies. I must have completely missed that. I'll rephrase my previous post.

UVerse here has been damn good.
I flat out LOVE LOVE LOVE my Uverse. Several people I know have switched since seeing it at my house and my parents will once it's available to them.

Is it a stupid idea to bat him 9th? That way he has the "order" effect of being a leadoff hitter (except in the first inning) but without getting the most ABs on the team? I really don't like his career "meh" OBP in the leadoff spot.
ahhh you subscribe to my "circular lineup theory". Too often the worst hitter is buried at the 9 whole, but I've argued for a long time that one of your better hitters should hit 9th.

joe cowley was all over this and same with putz... so i guess the asshole does have good sources
there's no doubt he has good sources. He just a douchebag, that's the problem.

Oh god, it would make my offseason! Haha. We would have to shed some major salary to do that, like dump Paulie on some team, and get rid of Jenks to start.
Like to the Angels in a three-way for AG.

I guess so. I assume that by the time he proposes a trade his work is done and he feels he is offering a a fair deal, and not one that has to be heavily negotiated.
He has always struck me as that kind of guy. Do the home work, have alternatives... get it done.

I think he tells teams that time is of the essence. There was an article recently from the winter meetings and it was talking about how no other teams express the urgency of KW.
So, basically he just moves fast? He doesnt work on a trade for weeks, he just goes in with an idea and gets it done in a day or two?

And whoever said this is a 'lateral move' for the Phillies.... what???
Replacing youth with aging, replacing left with right.
It's not a completely lateral move, but it's not like trading prospects for a stud.
Can i turn this thread a bit: How does Kenny make so many "I didnt see that coming" trades? Normally you start to hear whispers and leaks, but so often it's just BAM! a trade.
