I was really hopping that with a new D-Coordinator moving in that management would force Lovie to get out of his comfort zone and bring in someone who wasnt a "Yes man". And what did they do? Promote a Lovie "Yes man" friend. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 5, 2010 -> 10:46 AM) Rod better not be in line for the head coach job. Rod had a HORRIBLE team in Detroit. i don't know how much was him, but I too wouldnt be in favor of him being head coach. HOWEVER, if the Bears start off bad next year, he would be the logical temporary coach. -

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 27, 2009 -> 08:13 AM) This years was kind of a bland Christmas present year... I think my family spent most of the money they would have spent on my wife and I on our 15 month old daughter. she got a ton. I got: A couple of DVDs (Star Trek, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Rat Race) Some khaki pants A very large gift card to IKEA (not sure what I am doing with that just yet) some other smaller items I have Christmas with my wife's parents on New Years day, so more to come. I had Christmas with my in-laws this past weekend. Got money from my wife's grandma (she's been too sick to shop), more khaki pants, a one year membership to the Museum of Science and Industry, and.... a Wii!

QUOTE (Cknolls @ Dec 31, 2009 -> 01:20 PM) And the unbiased AP lies again: http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9...;show_article=1 Limbaugh DOES NOT broadcast from his mansion. Perhaps all thier fact checkers are still busy with Palin. I am trying to track down where he broadcasts from, but it is not unusual for broadcasters to work from home. It happens with a few of the Score guys all the time.

Limbaugh LOVE'S his heath care in Hawaii... doesnt realize it's a "socialist" system.

O-coordinator Turner likely to be dismissed; Lovie will return While the article is written as speculation, Mulligan said on the Score today that those names didnt come out of the air. he talked to a bunch of people inside the organization. -
She's legal now, so I can say it... Shawn Johnson She's going to be a smoking hot 25 year old.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 01:50 PM) And now that I have seen this electrical "closet", I am a lot more skeptical of James and much less skeptical of Leach. The size of the locations doesnt excuse the action of locking someone in there and saying if you come out we are kicking you off the team. -
QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 01:45 PM) She's very attractive IMO. If we're just talking celebrity crushes, Olivia Munn & Katy Perry are on the top of my list. Oh id didnt even think of Munn. Hells yea.

Creation in 6 Days or 15 Billion Years?

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 01:19 PM) Hell, relativity makes my brain hurt too. And this is the easy part of it. I absolutely love physics and quantum theory. At times I wonder if I should have gone that route as a career, but it just bends my mind too much. I'll be reading a book and it makes total sense, but the moment I put it away it stops making sense. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 01:08 PM) When you go through the details of the math, it's actually fairly surprising how exactly he needs to choose the velocity at which the Earth is moving away from the center of the universe to get this to work. The exact equation for the time dilation factor, the lorenz function, expresses time dilation as a function of 1/(1-V^2/C^2) where V is the velocity and C is the speed of light. If I did this right, for it to be exactly 1 trillion like he uses, you have to differ from the speed of light by 1 part in about 10^24. You'd basically be at 99.999999999999999999999999% of the speed of light, and if you're off by any of those 9's, the calculation doesn't work. This is probably why there's no obvious responses to this online; when you do the math, it requires an incredibly precise prediction of the velocity for the calculation to give the result he wants. VERY interesting... but now my brain hurts. lol -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 01:10 PM) The reason you've never seen a specific number attached to time dilation is that the specific factor depends on the velocity (and on gravity but that's getting into General relativity and I ain't going there). He's implicitly defining a velocity when he gives you that factor. aahh ok. Is it a plausible velocity? -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 01:04 PM) Comes out of standard relativity. It's actually been tested on earth a number of times (put an atomic clock on a plane, fly the plane for a year, check it against a clock that stayed at the surface and the 2 clocks will be offset by an amount that you can calculate). I should clarify what I meant to say... vs what I actually said. lol I meant to say I've never read or seen a specific time dilation number. I know that clocks will offset when flown at different speeds. -
