  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 09:32 PM) Damn it Bulls, stop winning. ^^^^^
  2. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 02:45 PM) But of course the hardest thing for me was his average play (and high TOs) this year. Because that average was obviously skewed by a year or two with Devin Hester as your #1 receiver and the worst Oline. But this is an offense designed to get the ball out early and at a high accuracy, and I wasn't impressed with his numbers. They have to improve in year 2. I dont doubt his toughness. i doubt doubt his arm strength, I 100% doubt his ability to make decisions. I dont think he is good at making the smart pass.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 05:00 AM) mining the nose gold.
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 01:20 PM) Mother Nature is just trying to help you get a kickstart to your resolution with some major physical activity. Mother Nature is just trying to mock me for turning down a job in Florida over the summer.
  5. @RapSheet #Bears QB Jay Cutler’s contract: 7 years, $126 million with $54M guaranteed.
  6. ‏@BMarshall BOOM.. . JAY 7 for 126.. . Congrats now let's go win
  7. Saving Mr. Banks was a really enjoyable movie. Sweet, funny, touching. The credits were pretty cool too.
  8. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 11:56 AM) Meh, the Bears avoided a wildcard exit. With that terrible defense, there were going nowhere fast. I've been thinking about this. It was kind of a blessing in disguise. It stopped Jay from possibly performing great in the playoffs and raising his value (even $ 1million / year is a big change). And, with the lose, the Bears jumped up 7 draft sports to 14. With a team that DESPERATELY needs to rebuild on defense, higher picks can only help. Not just a higher pick in the 1st, but it;s higher in 2, 3, and 4 where you can get some solid value and potential pro-bowlers.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 11:06 AM) Jen Lada ‏@JenLada 24m Emery: Jay doesn't have to be better than Aaron Rodgers, our team has to be better than the Green Bay Packers. Well worded. not the Lovie line about beating the Packers. It's all about being BETTER than them.
  10. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 10:50 AM) That's a lot of money for a guy that hasn't played a full season in 4 years and has played 10 or 11 games in 2 of the last 3. And for a guy that's 1-9 against the Packers. And for a guy that has won, what, one playoff game? In fairness to Jay, the Bears beat the Packers on Sunday... well, the offense did. The defense.. not so much.
  11. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 10:18 AM) As of now, I want Clinton-Dix.
  12. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 10:17 AM) @alexmarvez, Cutler extension avg $18M in the 1st 3 yrs. That suggests a guarantee in the $50M-$55M range How is the cap-hit calculated? Is it guaranteed $/contract length=hit?
  13. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 10:07 AM) That scares me. More than the franchise tag number? Maybe 18M is not the cap hit though? So, basically a 3 year deal with money spread out over 7 years.
  14. Bears NEED to draft a defensive player at 14. No ifs, and, or buts about it. DE, CB, S.
  15. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 09:44 AM) No reason they can't take one. The Packers still do it every year. Draft, develop, trade if necessary.
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 09:40 AM) Well, I think the fact that the deal was done this quickly shows the mutual interest for him to stay. Here's hoping he can stay healthy and have the season we've been waiting for next year. All three contracts (Cutler, Slauson, Jennings) were done in the last 3 days.
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 09:38 AM) Its the NFL 7 years means nothing. oh I know. it's to spread out cash.
  18. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 1, 2014 -> 08:55 AM) New year, new console war PS 5 is WAY better than the XBox Two. And dont get me started on how sad the Wii Us is.
  19. I just saw that they are making The Giver into a movie. This excites me. Or should I say, it gives me stirrings?
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 1, 2014 -> 09:59 PM) Wasn't he also on one of the Star Trek tv series as well? General K'Vagh on ST:ENT He was also a finalist to play Worf. (I never knew that before)
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 08:04 AM) That championship game vs the Giants a few years back had a game time temp of 0 with a negative 23 wind chill. Sunday should be colder. I'll never forget how red Tom Coughlin's face was. he really should have worn a hat...
  22. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 31, 2013 -> 10:50 AM) http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/10220178...rew-bynum-trade Sigh. I hate the Bulls FO. From the 28th... QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 28, 2013 -> 11:19 AM) Crackpot idea... Should the Bulls trade for Andrew Bynum knowing his contract expires after next season. They might be able to get a pick to take him of Cleveland's hands.
  23. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 05:34 AM) So it's supposed to be really f***ing cold in Green Bay on Sunday. Like potentially Ice Bowl cold. Weather.com - High of 0, low of -18... PRE wind chill.
  24. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 30, 2013 -> 06:09 PM) It's unfortunate for him that he players for a team called the Packers. His middle school friends will tear him up at lunch next semester! It's actually unfortunate that he's in Wisconsin. I'd be willing to bet there are a LOT of Packer fans who are not to accepting of homosexuality.
