QUOTE(bmags @ Apr 3, 2008 -> 10:59 AM) athomeboy, you should post Richardson's editorial. I believe talkingpoints had it in one of their links. hmmm.... I didnt know Richardson wrote an editorial. I;'ll have to look into as soon as I am done with Dell tech support.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 3, 2008 -> 10:27 AM) Its a Clinton aide saying it, after the original story broke. I wouldn't trust it either. I'm not saying I BELIEVE Bill "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton and Hillary "Sniper Fire" Clinton. I am just reporting what is being reported. Personally, i think the Clinton campaign is going out of their way to try and discredit anyone who endorses Obama. James "Skeletor" Carville said blatantly that he was trying to send a message to other "Clinton people". My translation: "we'll knee cap you if you DARE go against us".

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 3, 2008 -> 10:17 AM) I read an article this AM, that I cannot find now, that said the opposite - that Clinton told Richardson herself that Obama could not win in the general. And it was from an actual news sourcem not a blog. I'll see if I can track it down. The content was not from the TPM. It was from Time magazine... http://thepage.time.com/2008/04/03/source-...obama-cant-win/ It's all he said, she said.

QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Apr 3, 2008 -> 10:10 AM) YEs, because we all know full well how all those Democratic Senators read every bill that comes before them before offering support or voting on them. They would never get tricked into signing a bill about a war or anything, or just sign anti-terror laws without reading the fine print. Models of efficiency and diligence, they are. You are getting no arguments form me that there is egg on a lot of peoples faces now. They SHOULD have read it or at least have a staffer brief them on it. I am just saying I find it interesting that he would blindly support a war (having been IN a war), but yet have to "read closely" a bill to give them an education.
-
QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Apr 3, 2008 -> 10:02 AM) Also not currently opposing it, at least according to your little snippit. He says he needs to read it carefully before supporting it. Well, he didnt read the NIE (National Intelligence Estimate) on Iraq before voting for the war. Now he needs to review carefully a bill to give those soldiers an education? Interesting.

I found this rather interesting. John McCain is not currently supporting the new GI bill. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/03/m...gi_n_94791.html Thoughts?

QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 2, 2008 -> 09:48 PM) Ok, quick recap: March 21 - Bill Richardson Endorses Obama March 22 - James "Skeletor" Carville calls Richardson Judas Last few days - Bill Clinton blows a gasket claiming “Five times to my face (Richardson) said that he would never do that (endorse in general or endorse Obama)" This Evening - Richardson: "I never saw [President Clinton] five times. I saw him when he watched the Super Bowl with me. We made it very clear to him that he shouldn't expect an endorsement after that meeting." Why do I have a feeling Richardson is on the high ground here? How can we trust anything the Clinton's say? Now add today - a Clinton "associate" said that Bill Richardson privately had confided to the Clintons that he thought Obama couldn't win a general election.

It's 3AM and Hillary wants to scare the $h1t out of you....

QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Apr 2, 2008 -> 02:44 PM) You could start a Hillary one too, but the sound of crickets would be overwhelming. She doesnt exactly have a huge following on here. A few vocal. But not many.

Quick thoughts: Who will McCain pick for VP?

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 2, 2008 -> 02:22 PM) Seriously, how would we expect a candidate to answer that question? "No, Al Gore will not be in my cabinet, I can't stand the man and I think anthropogenic climate change is a myth"? yea. i think any 3 of the remaining people would say that. Yes, i think McCain would leave it open to the possibility, but it would be unlikely.

QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Apr 2, 2008 -> 11:02 AM) I agree 100% but Ramirez should be at 2B and Anderson CF. I have been saying that for a while. Plus I think Anderson + Ramirez is MUCH better than Ramirez + Uribe offensively. -
Obama would consider Gore for cabinet position Call me cynical, but it was the LAST question before he left and she read it. hmmmm....

QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Apr 1, 2008 -> 06:19 PM) "It’s time for his campaign to get out of the gutter." I'm not proud of it, but I did laugh a little at that line. It was pretty funny. -
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 2, 2008 -> 12:32 PM) If you count the popular vote, I wouldn't be surprised if she was right. Total Votes (including caucus delegate votes): 26,666,597 Clinton: 12,392,571 (46.472%) Obama: 13,184,499 (49.442%) Difference: 791,928 (2.97%) Total Votes (minus caucus delegate votes): 25,963,296 Clinton: 12,147,065 (46.786%) Obama: 12,739,125 (49.066%) Difference: 592,060 (2.28%)

QUOTE(bmags @ Apr 2, 2008 -> 11:08 AM) Clinton is not down 1%, she's down 3%. pledged delegates to date: 2684.5 Obama: 1416 (52.747%) Clinton 1250.5 (46.582%) Edwards: 18 So, she's actually 6.165% behind in the delegates and 4-6% in the latest nation wide polls.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 2, 2008 -> 11:02 AM) Um...yeah, a 30 or so point swing, from the outlier on one side to the outlier on the other side. Somehow, I feel the urge to go re-read Survey USA's data. The fact that there is even a single poll that shows he is in the lead is amazing. The fact that it is close ENOUGH to make it plausible is a huge step for obama. I also point to this in their press release:

For what it's worth: Obama overtakes Clinton in PA Polls!!!

I heard earlier this afternoon that Clinton will not be releasing her fundraising states for March. uh oh! By the way, she said exactly ONE week ago that she would have her taxes released "within the week". Well, it's been a week... no taxes.
