  1. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Dec 31, 2005 -> 05:05 PM) He's actually a Cardinals fan. That is correct. I interned at the station back in the summer of 2004. He wore a Cards hat almost everyday. With that being said, he's a really great guy. I thnink he'll do great. He'll conect with a young croud.
  2. QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Dec 30, 2005 -> 03:39 PM) The fire a getting a new stadium for the 06 season i think. You are correct....
  3. Buy a Mac. Ok, now that I got that out of my system... I have no idea. lol
  4. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 30, 2005 -> 12:10 PM) I love those commercials!
  5. QUOTE(SnB @ Dec 30, 2005 -> 11:30 AM) In other news, I saw 3 xbox 360's just lying around at walmart yesterday. I'm not an XBox 360 fan. If I had to chose between XBox and PS3 it rests on a single point. PS3 will play the Nex-Gen DVDs (Blu-Ray) that are capable of High Def.
  6. Remember Pong? Atari? Nintendo? Super Nintendo? Video Games sure have come a LONG way. Check out the graphics for the Playstation 3 due out in the spring. It's almost REAL!!
  7. HOLY CRAP! Some guy just called the Score in regards to the stadium idea and said that apperently Schaumburg is under the table looking to maybe get an NFL team. Maybe in a stadium near the convention center. Bernstein said he hasn't heard that, but WOW! What an interesting idea.
  8. Can anyone explain to me why it would cost almost a BILLION dollars to build? Hell, Soldier Field was $600 million. The RETRACABLE ROOF stadium being build for the Arizona Cardinals only cost $400 million and it has a capacity of 63,000. That's $6349.21 per seat. A one billion dollar seat 80,000 seat NON-retracable roof stadium would be 12,500 per seat. That's almost TWICE the cost per seat. Seems a little odd.
  9. Merry Christmas to all! I eagerly await to open presents so i can see all the White Sox stuff I got! lol
  10. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Dec 23, 2005 -> 09:39 AM) I really dont think a 2nd NFL team would do too well here..... This is such a Bears city that there is no way they would get enough fan support for a 2nd team..... although I guess if they win the people will come anyways. I agree 100%. i just wish this all would have come about around 6 years ago. If they want to build a domed stadium, then soldier field is such a waist! THey should have built "McDome" but we need to play in Bear weather!!!
  11. At least he's finally serious about getting the olympics here. I've been eying 2016 for years! (PS: THe olympics would probably pay for the stadium just by itself)

  13. where's Kyle Orton???? He lead this team to 9 wins. That's TOTALLY worthy of being n the Pro-Bowl team!! I DEMAND KYLE ORTON!
  14. QUOTE(knightni @ Dec 18, 2005 -> 01:20 PM) I say, that the only way the Saints should move out of New Orleans is if Benson had to sell them. Very interesting compromise. PS: Anyone see how many people are at the game today in Tiger Stadium in Baton rouge? THere's like 20,000 people MAX!
  15. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2263637 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2263598 I've heard arguments on both side, but personally I am all for them moving out of New Orleans. It will be several years befoer that city is viable and people have beeter things to spend thier money on (like rebuilding homes) than an NFL football game. I hate the argument that it isnt fair to desert the city when it's down. If anything, that's when you need to. It's not fair to the team to suffer just to try and renew a city. THis should support a move... "(San Antonio) ranks 37th as a TV market, which is among the city's less appealing factors to the NFL. Still, city leaders have argued that their TV market still outranks cities with NFL teams, including Buffalo at 49, Jacksonville at 52 and even pre-Katrina New Orleans at 43."
  16. Anyone else think it is Mike that is holding The Score back? He is WAY over priced for not only his ratings, but his averall talent and ability. He makes (i beleive) 1.5 million a year. he was given an exrta $100,000 to move to mornings. Given his ratings, they could use that money FAR wiser. Maybe pay the underpayed producers more. bring in some better talent overall for some of the time shifts. Stuff liek that. OH YEA! And dont forget they could run few commercials!
  17. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Dec 14, 2005 -> 10:26 PM) Good to know that there is a God. Well there is, but unfortunetly, Mike thinks he's him!
  18. WOW! If true, this is a WHOLE new team from last year, but maybe BETTER!!!
  19. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Dec 14, 2005 -> 04:14 PM) Ah President Arthu! I remember his re-election slogan "Arthu, Deethu!" It wasn't until 1977 that anyone ever got it. Ok, so i cant type. lol
  20. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Dec 14, 2005 -> 04:10 PM) Screw that! I want my Millard Fillmore! Chester Arthu, baby!
