Nicole Richie is on David Letterman. She is actually coming off as an intelligent person. Compare her to all the times I have seen Paris Hilton on talk shows.... Richie is FAR smarter and more sophisticated. I am not saying Richie is Ms. Manors, but wow I'm surprised.

I read this on MSNBC.com and cringed: "She emphasized that spreading democracy through the Middle East remained a top Bush administration priority and that 'the stakes could not be higher.'" Now on face value, that sounds like a great thing for the world, but let's delve deeper into it. That part of the world is run by dictators and tyrannical oppressors. The only way to spread democracy in these countries the leaders will need to be removed. And to remove these leaders, one must invade the country and remove them by force. That force is the US Military. So, El Presidente plan is to continue invading countries until every country in the middle east is free. So, here’s to years of war and pointless deaths ahead of us.

Did you all hear the subjects that are being dropped from State Exams? Social Studies, Health, Writing.... ect. Yea, that no child left behind act is doing great. In order to get money the state has to drop "less important" topics in order to consentrate more on Math. Nice Job Mr. Bush!

I am a life long Christian and very conservative on most issues. but when I looked at what was best for our country, I knew that Kerry was the better option. You dont have have to be Liberal to vote demecrate. Vote for who will make america better.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 08:27 AM) If Bush thinks the war on Iraq solely got himself re-elected in the 2004 Elections, well that's just ludacrist quite frankly. And if you think the voters agreed with him and his cabinet's policies on Iraq, tell that to the families of those American Soldiers killed, and the Iraqi's whose lives still today are in danger from suicide bombings etc. I completly agree. I really believe that the only reason he got reelected was because he scared the piss out of the CHristian right and they had to come out and vote for him because Bush had them convinced that if Kerry was elected the entire United States would go to hell.

MLB Drug Policy a Joke

Interesting.... the guy filling in for Dan Patrick just ripped MLB for not having strong enough testing under the new rule. *thumbs up* -
MLB Drug Policy a Joke

QUOTE(poorme @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 11:34 AM) there not testing because there is no test for HGH. THere is a blood test for it, but the players refuse to take blood test. -
They probably changed it to 2 for 1 night to stop some of the dopes who would come for half price just so they could get drunk. Every little bit counts I guess.

MLB Drug Policy a Joke

QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 10:42 AM) its a pretty horrible policy At first it seemed great! MLB actually seemed t get some balls. But when the finner details come out, MLB is a bunch of wimps. But mark my words..... Fox and ESPN will priase it to no end. -
Ozzie's plan for the bottom of the lineup...
HuskyCaucasian replied to Jabroni's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I actaully like WIllie batting 9th. He can go into a funk, but be burried in the lineup so he cant hurt us too much. However, if he gets hot, he can be a really good guy to turn the roster over. -
If you guys can, tune into Bores and Bernsie on The Score. THey are talking about MLB's new drug policy. Apperently HGH is banned, but MLB is not testing for it. So then what is the point of banning it if you have no way to inforce the banning?

MLB to announce new steroid plan on Thursday
HuskyCaucasian replied to greasywheels121's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
The story has been updated: "1. Suspensions on the first offense will carry a maximum length of 10 games, a baseball source told ESPN the Magazine's Buster Olney. Under the system in place for 2004, a player would have had to test positive five times before the first suspension. 2. All players will be subject to year-round random testing. Every major league player will be tested at least once a year. There are no stipulations requiring that a player be tested more than once. But an unspecified number of players will be selected at random to be tested numerous other times throughout the year. So unlike the current system, a player would not know, following his one mandatory test, that he had no future tests to worry about for the rest of the year. 3. Players can now be tested during the offseason. In the first two seasons of the agreement, testing took place only between the opening of spring training and the last day of the season. 4. A large number of substances would be added to the list of banned drugs, including THG and various steroid precursors. The new agreement does not address the issue of stimulants." DAMN! I like that! -
