  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 5, 2011 -> 12:53 PM) I really don't have the impression that they're this close. If they were, they'd be meeting like crazy to save the regular season opening. They're not. I think there's a real big competitive balance issue that the owners are trying to figure out. They need to find a way to stop "big 3s" from assembling again.
  8. Please, just contract 2 teams. that's all I ask. (Glad to see they are closer to a deal)

I'll do a "vanity search" every once and a while to see what comes up. I have a cousin, with the same name, who is a disney imagineer. So most of the stuff that comes up is him. My Facebook and Google+ are almost 100% locked down and my Twitter name doesnt have my name in it at all.
  10. The first tease of the Nexus Prime
  11. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 5, 2011 -> 06:41 AM) Im sure most people in this thread are also "tech support" for their families and friends like I am, and I always tell them before you even call me unplug and plug the thing back in and see what happens. My first question I always ask: "is it plugged in? Yes? Ok, now on to question 2...."

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 3, 2011 -> 08:48 PM) Youdidnt find the cockblockasaurus to be realistic? that's a WAY better name than the scientist gave it. I have 2 cockblockasaurus' in my house, they're 3 and 1.5 years old.
  13. I used to know a guy who worked in the cell phone area at Motorola's headquarters (Schaumburg). I'm wishing I still knew him. I'd love to get to play with prototypes.
  14. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 02:00 PM) Oh. I didn't realize that was a video. I thought it was a picture. And yes. That looks like what I tried out. Oh that makes me excited
  15. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 01:57 PM) No. He was running ICS on a Nexus S. I meant the look of the OS, not the actual phone.
  16. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 01:51 PM) Yes. A good friend of mine works for google and he's one of the people selected to test the OS. Only played with it for a few minutes though so I don't really know all of the changes. Is this it?
  17. So.... no iPhone 5 exclusivity to Sprint, huh?
  18. Verizon, ATT, Sprint
  19. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 01:31 PM) BTW, I played with the new Google OS this past weekend. Pretty nice. They are making great strides in the UI. Which one? Ice Cream Sandwich?
  20. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 01:30 PM) They'll still sell a billion of these. It's a solid phone and easy to use. I understand why it's popular.
  21. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 4, 2011 -> 01:28 PM) So it basically sounds like they made a Galaxy S II without 4g capabilities. Apple is playing catch up today, and will be passed again when the Nexis Prime is announced next Tuesday.
