  1. Gload can play the outfield. I'm not sure how well he can play center, but one of the reasons he is going to make the team is because of his versatility, which includes playing the outfield.
  2. He's a lefty but he can play third. If Burke makes the team, then he will probably be the guy to give Crede days off from time to time. However, Gload can play it.
  3. Gload can be a fourth outfielder/pinch hit/play third/play first.
  4. Ya, and people said our pitching staff sucks. You know what, people suck.
  5. Where did people hear his elbow was a problem? They never said anything about it last year, and I hadn't heard that during the offseason either. Does anyone have a source where it said his elbow was giving him trouble?
  6. Tying? There's no tying in baseball.
  7. That's right, I got mixed up. My bad.
  8. I thought you were thew updater? Lol
  9. Alright, it sucked he struggled there, but he bounced back at least keeping it tied. Let's finish this now.
  10. Gload is surely securing his spot on the roster.
  11. I believe they said he would only observe the Colorado game.
  12. That a way Ruddy, never give up, no matter what the ump says, lol.
  13. Gload being aggressiva and having it payoff, nice.
  14. Koch 1-2-3 in the 7th today against the D-Backs. 2 strikeouts, nice.
  15. They were saying all last year that nothing was wrong with his arm, and they couldn't figure out why he lost velocity. They changed his approach and nothing, but they said he was healthy.
  16. He should be able to perform well, but it's going to come down to how well he locates his pitches. If his fastball is down again, it's not the end of the world, as long as he can locate his other repertoire of pitches, including mainly his sinker and curve.
  17. Lol, is it a crime to reiterate. Besides you said hopefully, which isn't a prediction either way. I said I don't think anything more will come of it, and that's more of a prediction.
  18. Apparently he missed that day they talked about it. Regardless though, this is really not a big deal. They talked to him, and that is that. No more should come of it. If this is the biggest problem we deal with in ST, we should be in good shape.
  19. Harris shouldn't have said anything, but he should have been told. They wanted Buerhle to do this special and he designated it to Willie. He's basically a rookie, and if there is an unwritten rule, people should have made it clear. He obviously didn't know.
  20. All the married players are not caught up. They told their wives that they're the Sox and no girls have any interest in spending time outside their hotel rooms on road trips. Nice job Willie.
  21. Canceled due to rain. :headshake
  22. Billy Wagner threw slightly higher than the 86-88 range with his fastball.
