I recommend visiting GreekTown and trying a restaurant or two. If you go to a local grocery store like Dominick's, you can buy a CTA day pass and get unlimited usage out of it for 24 hours. It's a great alternative to continual re-filling cards if you plan to see a lot of things over one day. The nice thing about Chicago, is that with buses and trains that you don't really need a car to get places.
