  1. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ May 3, 2009 -> 02:52 PM) Both excellent pitchers, but I respectively disagree and would take Randy Nolan Ryan led the league in: GS=0 CG=1 Shutouts=3 IP=1 Strikeouts=11 ERA+=2 CERA=4 OAV=12 WS=0 Randy Johnson: GS=3 CG=4 Shutouts=2 IP=2 Strikeouts=9 ERA+=6 CERA=2 OAV=5 WS=4 CERA=Component ERA But...but... SEVEN No-hitters!!!!!11!!!!
  2. I honestly believe that Guillen swallowed a four-leaf clover when they won in 2005. With his luck, the Sox will score 10 runs with that lineup tonight.
  3. The good news: London you get the Super Bowl The bad news: Kickoff will be 1am local time.
  4. QUOTE (SoxPride56 @ May 3, 2009 -> 03:43 PM) Lineup Nix 2B Fields 3B Quentin LF Konerko DH Betemit 1B Miller C Podsednik RF Ramirez SS Lillibridge CF Danks P reply with quote That "reply with quote" is a hell of a hitter.
  5. Schafer is not that great of a fantasy player yet. He doesn't steal enough and he Ks too much. If you want to pick up LaPorta for him, you can; but I don't know how well LaPorta will do versus mlb pitching. He could be great, he could be average, he could be Russell Branyan.
  6. Ack! Another guy with a 7+ ERA who could "own" the Sox hitters.
  7. QUOTE (danman31 @ May 2, 2009 -> 09:21 PM) Thanks for your negative contribution that was completely uncalled for. What are you? A Pistons fan? No. Just was never a Krause fan. After drafting Pippen and Grant, it was a crap shoot with that guy.
  8. He was a #5 pick. He had Tyrus Thomas' shooting touch, Eddy Curry's rebounding skills and Ben Gordon's ball handling skill.
  9. King was one of the biggest Bulls draft busts ever.
  10. QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ May 2, 2009 -> 08:47 PM) what channel is the sox game on, csn+? WGN
  11. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ May 2, 2009 -> 08:45 PM) what the hell is going on at the Sox game? Precipitation, my good man.
  12. B. The guy looks like he's trying but I'm a bit worn on his speeches. He hasn't really accomplished anything yet, but I won't be tougher on him until a year or two into his presidency.
  13. QUOTE (knightni @ May 2, 2009 -> 06:01 PM) What's that Italian Beef/Sausage place just north of the park? It's on the left coming from the south. You can park on a dead end street and walk over. You order from outside, then go into an enclosed picnic style area to eat. Is that Al's? Anyone?
  14. QUOTE (Texsox @ May 2, 2009 -> 06:23 PM) I'm going with the future hall of famer If only we had the 1998 Griffey instead of the 2008 one.

    QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 2, 2009 -> 06:00 PM) Illinois has 3 confirmed and 85 probable cases. They were last seen hanging out with these guys:
  16. I wish we had a 22 yr old Dye in LF, and CQ in RF.

  18. QUOTE (fathom @ May 2, 2009 -> 05:19 PM) Just watching MLB Network and highlights of 1996 World Series. Jermaine Dye's defense was terrible as always, but I got quite the laugh out of seeing him pulled for LUIS F'N POLONIA with 2 on, 2 outs in game 5. A future World Series MVP got yanked so a future pedophile could hit. Polonia was a good veteran hitter with postseason experience who hit over .400 in pinch hitting duties that year. Dye was a 22 year old rookie who was hitting under .200 in his first postseason.
  19. Nolan Ryan is about a half step above Randy Johnson.
