  1. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Mar 12, 2008 -> 10:42 AM) Anderson should be in center, Swisher in left, when the season starts. That is all. Might as well DL Quentin.
  2. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 12, 2008 -> 09:58 AM) If Ohka is a given, then I assume MMac and Wassermann both go to AAA. That means a bullpen of Jenks, Linebrink, Dotel, Ohka, Logan, Thornton, Masset. Sort of a shame to let a guy like Ohka get in the way of MMac or Wassermann if you ask me. If Ohka can produce, it wouldn't matter to me if he's blocking Cy Young. MacDougal and Wassermann weren't performing well enough to stay on the mlb roster, Mac has been iffy for a few years and Wass is a ROOGy, pure and simple. I'd find a trade partner for Ohka and go with 11 guys if I was KW.
  3. Hm.. Is Alexander a fit in Chicago or is he too expensive/risky?
  4. QUOTE(bigruss22 @ Mar 11, 2008 -> 06:56 PM) Plus you wouldnt have that sweet sig Yeah! The guy who did that one is awesome!
  5. It's too hard to find a time that everyone can do.

  7. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 11, 2008 -> 03:30 AM) give them all our s*** with one decent prospect in there (who some will argue is s***) and then they'll give us Roberts? Wellll... they are Baltimore after all.
  8. Massett + Richar + Anderson + MacDougal + Uribe perhaps?
  9. Well, being a lefty thrower narrows it down to DH, 1B & OF. Only Mike Squires threw lefty at catcher in the last 30 years.
  10. QUOTE(kjshoe04 @ Mar 11, 2008 -> 02:40 AM) Too bad Ventura was more than ten years ago. I think he is the reason I do it. Valentin did it for that one year.... No. You're thinking throws right, bats left. He said it the other way.
  11. Enjoy the giant roaches, snakes and 100 degree humid heat this summer!
  12. QUOTE(flavum @ Mar 11, 2008 -> 02:13 AM) OK--trivia: In the last ten years, name a White Sox player (not a pitcher) that throws left and bats right exclusively. /I cheated
  13. Think they could get a skate sharpener and a box of pucks in trade for 'Bulin at this point?
  14. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 11, 2008 -> 01:21 AM) Actually I'd prefer Rickey to Jerry QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Mar 11, 2008 -> 01:49 AM) I genuinely believe he could outplay Owens. Yeah. They'd both hit a solid .198 and have a .323 OBP.
  15. Ramirez looks a little like a young Jerry Manuel.
  16. Franken's best work was as a baggage handler in Trading Places.
  17. Oh, a side note: Shouldn't the best base stealer be the 1st base coach - like Raines was? Help the guy at first: 1. get good jumps 2. know when to get back 3. figure out how to watch pitchers and recognize pickoff moves
  18. Franken and Rush Limbaugh are both very intelligent and knowledgable in political matters; but, they both seem to give off an air of pomposity gets in the way of their message/opinion. People who disagree with their opinion tend to see them as boorish and a few more vulgar terms.
  19. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 11, 2008 -> 12:27 AM) I assumed something happened or was in the works with Rickey (not necessarily as a player) when I saw the thread title creeping on the front page, so I changed the title to alleviate more of that. I added the SPECULATION part. The thread was purely speculation, so I put that in.
  20. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 10, 2008 -> 07:28 PM) Is there any chance at all the Bulls get involved and try to work a sign and trade for Brand. He seems like a perfect fit in Chicago. Getting the "El" train back would be awesome. f***ing Krause...
  21. The only thing that limiting transactions does is discourage activity and encourage absenteeism.
