I would have to think Kane being out it would be more than the flu at this point in the year. I think its more a concussion than anything else. He was getting abused in game 2. Of course they never tell the real reason during the playoffs to a player being out.

I do actually have to agree with Hawk on that Getz needs to get on top of the ball and get it on the ground so he can use his speed. Way too many pop ups and fly outs for him.

They'll have ten days to trade, release, or waive him. Young is out of options. Young, 26, hit .246/.321/.341 last year at Triple A but .337/.384/.571 in '07. He dealt with a strained oblique last year and began this season with an elbow issue. Tony Jackson of the L.A. Daily News suggested yesterday that the Indians, Pirates, and Phillies were eyeing Young.
