I could see the Sox trying to trade Contreras in a deal just because it seems everyone from AJ to Ozzie to KW are just sick to death of him now..IMO

I believe the pitchers that had the problem with AJ was Tomko and Herges and IIRC Herges actually apologized to AJ so its mostly Tomko with the problem...

I will be at this game hopefully BMac can pitch more effectively this time around....Hope the rain holds off as well.

This may be down right silly but what if the Sox were to trade Garland for Schimdt/package? Yes I know Garland has been hot as hell this season but thats partly the reason why. His trade value has probably never been this high and may never again be, plus IIRC isn't Garland a FA after this season? Maybe the Sox may think to try and resign again or that they may not even be able to do so....I am not saying I would be for this, I would rather it be El Duque or Contreras to go but does anyone really think SF or anyone else for that matter would want either of those guys??

I hate heights and could never see myself ever flying in one...

The thing that surprises me is that some people don't want a proven ACE like Schimdt but will settle for a #5 starter...man the Sox staff would be frightening if they added Schimdt to it..

Thats because North couldn't name you a prospect the Hawks or anyone else have so thats why he doesn't ask...He'd be lucky to name you any of the starters the Hawks have...Plus the reason everyone keeps asking about Wirtz and Pully is because they always have to have their fingers into any move the GM is going to make and I am sure it won't be much different with Tallon either. The game has passed Wirtz and Pully by a long time ago and they still don't realize it.

Mike North doesn't know jack s*** about sports period...it was just hilarious watching him badger Tallon about Wirtz and Pully and you could tell Tallon was getting pissed because he asked North..."What's your problem man?"

I would also bet that Texas would be very interested in Schmidt if they couldn't land Clemens....
