Bulls need to score points, they definitely have a chance to win but they have to play a great game. Korver/Deng need to make open shots, Thib needs to make the right calls with line ups. Big game, hopefully they come out strong.

I just am not sure that I would say Kobe was better than Magic, so that is the end of the argument right there.

Kobe may end his career having a few all time statistics better than Jordan, but that is mainly due to the fact Kobe will end up playing more games. I dont really think Kobe dominated his era, he was good, but Im not even sure that hes the best Laker of all time.

At least thats the last thing Id want if I was the NFL.

I wasnt using the facts of the case, I was just using random sets of facts to show that different circumstances will lead to different results.

Thats why the case is nonsense, it really never got to the heart of the issue, were there exigent circumstances. To make things practical, if the police smell marijuana coming from your apartment/house/whatever they knock on the door and hear you flushing the toilet violently, it might be exigent circumstances. Conversely they knock on your door, you answer the door, and say that they have to get a warrant, maybe its not exigent circumstances. But that is for the trier of fact to decide on a case by case basis, KY''s ruling was a little lazy and I think the Supreme Court wanted to clarify.

Well the whole ruling is a joke because they actually didnt rule on the most important fact: "Was merely having the belief evidence was being destroyed, exigent circumstances?" The KY court (haha) let Supreme Court off the hook because they assumed for the sake of argument, that there were exigent circumstances (Most likely because they never thought the Supreme Court would over turn them), when it seems that the Supreme Court of Kentucky wasnt sure that there were exigent circumstances, they just felt even if their were that it didnt matter. This is important, because while I agree with the Supreme Court that merely knocking on a door is not enough to create exigent circumstances, I am not so sure that exigent circumstances existed. Basically had the Supreme Court ruled the other way, there is an argument that if a police officer knocked on a door then heard a gun shot, that he could not enter because the knock created the exigent circumstances and therefore it was in violation of the 4th. Im pretty pro-Defendant but this was just sloppy on all parts.

? Isnt whether a warrantless search was legal or illegal a question of fact? So im not sure how SCOTUS wasnt ruling on the facts presented in this case... Note on how specific they are: The only question that was being answered in this case was the following: Does police knocking on the door create the situation which then gave them the excuse to use exigent circumstances to enter? The Supreme Court basically said that a reasonable person when the police knock on the door will answer the door. That you cant just assume that by knocking on the door that people will start to destroy evidence which will create an exigent circumstance, thus allowing the police to enter without a warrant. Its important to notice that the ruling clearly states that had they answered the door and denied the police entry, that the police could not have entered. The ruling is so narrow its almost a question of why did the Supreme Court waste their time.

lost, I agree completely, the key on defense against Miami has been that Brewer/Bogans/ can guard both Lebron and Wade (obviously bogans on lebron isnt as ideal but its not like Lebron on Korver). As soon as Korver is out there, Lebron/Wade understand how to pick so that Rose/Deng are forced to switch or try and hedge on Lebron/Wade, that really just cant be your defensive strategy. When Deng/Brewer/Bogans can switch, it just turns the pick into more iso. At one point Lebron actually waived off a pick from Anthony because he realized all it did was bring Taj over to double team. The other problem is that because the Bulls shot so well from behind the 3 point arc the first game, they fell in love with shooting it tonight. 3/20 just isnt a great night.

Steve it was just a comment hoping that Rose would make a bunch of shots and win the game. Superstar was clearly hyperbole. Everyone knows Rose is a superstar, he won the MVP, hes an All-Star, etc etc. The point was more if he wants to be the best player in basketball. I really didnt think that it was so necessary to explain because if you have read the other hundred posts in this thread where I have supported the Bulls and Rose, it should be clear what I meant. But hey if you want to argue over a literal reading of a post, feel free. It seems like a pretty big waste of time to me because Id rather discuss how the Bulls can win game 3 and the changes that need to be made. If only.

Not only that but he was inexplicably guarding Wade which meant that he was expending a ton of energy on defense. In the last few series I felt that Korver was a key, but right now the guy is just messing up the entire defensive flow. And the Bulls arent going to out offense Miami, so they might as well play great defensive match ups and hope that Brewer/Bogans can make open shots, because while you have to imagine Korver getting super hot and the stats evening out, but right now hes just cold.

No I typed it because when I watch Rose shoot, his shot does not instill confidence in me. He just needs to keep working and get more arc on it because it just seems way to flat.

Rose just isnt a finished product and if he doesnt come up with a win this year, its okay. The Bulls are putting a lot of weight on his shoulders and other players need to step up and hit shots. The Bulls didnt lose because of Rose, the Bulls lost because Korver is supposed to be a good shooter and he was 1-7, Deng was 1-7 from 3. Rose just needs guys to make the shots they are paid to make, because Rose is putting them in the position to do it.

I meant superstar as in some one who will deliver championships. And im not even saying that it matters if the Bulls lose 4-1 this series, Rose has progressed far faster than I believe anyone can imagine. Basically like MJ he will need to develop a more consistent jump shot to really take his game to the next level. Im not sure whats so controversial about this statement.

lol The bandwagon? Im saying if we want to say Rose is the best player in the world and not get ridiculed, Rose needs to play like it. Not saying he wont, just thats what he needs to do. Plays like that are what he needs to do. Im not sure what the problem is with saying that Rose needs to take over when the offense struggles
