  2. Tino Martinez! 10 for 30 against Loaiza with 5 HR? That's unbelievable.
  3. I just heard it on the score. For those that are unaware, Pat was a potential pro bowl safety who gave up millions of dollars to go fight. He died in Afghanistan last night.
  4. Maybe you should sit. Where were you when Frank got called up back in 1990? You probably had a pacifier in your mouth and a steaming pile of s*** in your diaper. Stop yourself.
  5. Hey, I like it, although I think that Buffalo will be trying to improve their piss poor offense, so they'll probably grab a WR with the 13th pick. So, according to your mock draft, both Wilfork and Harris will still be available. Jerry would grab one of those two for certain. But I like the idea of another shutdown cornerback, definitely. They're usually only available in the first round, although we got one in the second round last year. Also, the Cardinals already have a monster at WR. If anything, they need a running back. I see them trading down.
  6. Kirilenko was already a monster last year. I'm pretty sure that he led the league this year in total turnovers forced (he was #1 through 60 games). Barkley also went on the record and stated that Kirilenko is his favorite player in the league. He gets a lot of respect.
  7. Me too, and yet, I'm a Sox fan. My dad was a Sox fan, so that automatically made me a Sox fan. He grew up on Cleveland street, within a mile or two of Wrigley Field. He used to tell me all these stories about how he'd go to Cubs games just to root against them He loved Roberto Clemente. He used to approach Clemente to the point where Roberto recognized him after a while. He still has all of these programs with his autograph.
  8. Let's put up a 10 spot tonight.
  9. God damn. 2 stolen bases in one inning. Not bad.
  10. I apologize. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
  11. Daddy is merely a messenger. This is 100% Eli.
  12. What a spoiled brat this kid is. This isn't quite as pathetic as Steve Francis sobbing hysterically after the Vancouver Grizzlies drafted him, but it's close. But don't worry, daddy will fix everything. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. But if I had the opportunity to play with the best running back in the league (hands down), I wouldn't complain. The Chargers have a respectable amount of defensive talent. They also have the worst WR corps, worst OL, and worst TE corps in the league, though. They need to get busy on draft day. They could take Gallery, and then grab the best WR available with the second pick. Otherwise, they could trade the #1 to the Giants, grab the next best T available (Andrews), and use their next few picks on WRs and Gs. They also need a TE. But I don't care how many weaknesses a team has. You can't tell a team not to draft you. I hope that Manning ends up in Arizona. He deserves it after this.
  13. Before the season started, I hit the free agent market & picked up Zach and Camby for my fantasy team. I already had Boozer (a 10th round pick). Needless to say, I won my fantasy league. I love all of those guys.
  14. LOL. Zachary is a good guy, though.
  15. He'll be on the Pirates in no time.
  16. It is goofy like that. But then again, we can put up damn near double digit runs against Roger Clemens. We've done it a couple times over the past few years. But then we get shut out by the likes of Paul Abbott and Joe Mays.
  17. Certain details about Cubs fans stick out in my mind. Like, after they won the division last year, they showed a bunch of Cubs fans jumping up and down at a bar to House Of Pain's "Jump Around" :headshake Now, if this takes place at a Sox bar after we make the playoffs, I'll move to the mountains & nobody will ever hear from me again.
