QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 2, 2012 -> 03:19 PM) I really think that this whole concern about head injuries in terms of causing these guys to be depressed and off themselves is a bunch of bulls***. You see this everywhere with people who fall from fame - they don't know how to deal with it. You see child stars, actors and actresses, musicians, it happens in all walks of "celebrity", and that's really what I think should be to blame. To hell with any brain damage causing these guys to lose their s***.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 2, 2012 -> 12:29 PM) That would actually be a great topic. There would be some interesting competition, that's for sure. You could throw out Jay Williams bike adventures to start with. Or Jay Cutlah's injury when you guys were on the cusp of a super bowl. -

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 2, 2012 -> 12:09 PM) If a team scores more points than their opponent, they'll likely win the game. The Bulls just need to play basketball better and outscore their opponents--this will likely lead to success. -
QUOTE (Papa Tru @ May 1, 2012 -> 05:40 PM) Im prolly the only person who feels this way, but I am not as excited about this movie as I was for the previous two. I think Bane looks stupid, and I think thats what is really hurting my excitement. Im still gonna see it obviously, but I am just feelin blah about it so far. I agree with you. Brock Lesnar shouldve been Bane, at least his crazy strength would be believable. The acting part wouldnt be a problem since you cant understand what hes saying through the mask anyways.

So like, im kind of scared that Amare getting owned by a fire extinguisher case is a blessing in diguise for the knicks. I dont want the Carmelo Anthony show to start, i want an easy sweep. -

QUOTE (farmteam @ Apr 30, 2012 -> 01:43 AM) What why? Admittedly, I haven't been over there in awhile, but I thought that area in general was undergoing a general revitilization/gentrification. yeah especially on ogden right behind the stadium theres a lot of swanky bars and restaurants popping up and its quickly becoming one of my favorite spots to hang out at after a game now that logan square, wicker park and bucktown have fallen to the hipsters. -

They could have a flop rule like in soccer when a dude clearly flops in the box its a yellow card. Except in the nba they can issue a technical foul on a clear flop. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 04:26 PM) I drink when I'm nervous, heavily. Same, it should be a fun Playoffs. Walking into any bar in Chicago as a person born in Miami is always an exciting s*** talking experience from both sides. -
If the Dolphins draft Tannehill I'm immediately buying a Mitchell and Ness Dan Marino jersey.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 04:57 AM) I wouldn't bowl or play tennis while it still hurts. I tried to run through knee injuries before and I'm still paying for that decision four years later. Let an injury heal up first before trying to do anything that strains it. This. Im no doctor, but the Army had me running on injured shins for 4 years and now i get fat checks from uncle sam every month because ill never ever be able to run like one of those cool yuppie runners on lake shore drive with booty shorts on.
