  1. QUOTE(Shadows @ Oct 9, 2007 -> 02:19 AM) They will, they play Buffalo twice We can keep this up forever wite You act like Miami is better lol, Buffalo isnt good at all no doubt.... but when compared to Miami I think I might give them the edge actually.
  2. I think Bradley and Olsen can both be huge assets to Griese... Olsen because he is a big target and Bradley because I think he excels at going over the middle which is what Griese is good at, the slant patterns... LESS MUHSIN he cant get open!
  3. QUOTE(knightni @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 10:57 AM) The Bears need to get Peterson more touches. He has a better YPC than Benson. You dont think that has a lot to do with the situations he runs in? A lot of times he is running on 3rd and long so teams are playing for pass....Gotta look at the situations each back is running in more than YPC.
  4. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 12:06 AM) Mendenhall is very good. But he is no Mike Hart. Hart has proven himself over four years. There is only one other back I might argue is better and that is Darren McFadden. If Hart had breakaway speed, he'd be unstoppable. Mike Hart is the best in the Big Ten hands down. Right now Id have to agree Hart is better than Mendenhall, but the gap between the 2 has closed a lot. As for McFadden.... you dont even need to argue it he is a better player than Hart.... in college and will be in the pro's
  5. I think thats the key in the 2nd half, we need to use both our TE's.. especially Olsen needs to be on field as much as possible. Not 2 mention keep pounding the ball with Benson, its important even if not getting yards that teams respect our ground game.
  6. So hopefully we see more Bradley, Olsen, and Hester on offense. They are all weapons and I think the more chances they get to be on the field the more effective our offense will be. Also, even though Benson was stuffed most of the day I like how we kept pounding the ball with him too, sooner or later he will start getting the 100 yard games. Also, less Muhsin please, guy cant get open at all anymore.
  7. QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Oct 7, 2007 -> 10:45 PM) Great win. There is a good chance the Bears can win 2 of their next 3 and be at .500 going into the bye. We probably should win all 3 of them, but worse case if we are a playoff team we will win 2 of 3.
  8. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 7, 2007 -> 09:52 PM) Bradley has been in a lot because of Berrian's toe injury, FWIW. Well he has gotten open a lot it seems, and muhsin cant get open anymore at all..... so even if it doesnt happen would be nice to see more Bradley and less Muhsin.
  9. This is first game we been seeing more of Bradley/Olsen and I hope that happens more and more often. Also it seems Hester has been in there more which is also a plus. This offense has some skill players right now I think its Turner holding us back as much as everything else.
  10. Id like to see more offensive sets with obviously 5 OL, 2 TE, 2 WR, Qb, Rb..... I dont think Mckie is that good anyways and this keeps Olsen in the game addming just another playmaker. Also I think we need to see less of Moose and more of Bradley.... who I think is another playmaker.
  11. Why the hell do we have Daniel Manning playing cornerback with Ricky Manning jr. on this team? We traded for Manning jr. for a reason, wasnt to play behind Daniel manning who is still having trouble playing safety let alone cornerback.
  12. QUOTE(vandy125 @ Oct 5, 2007 -> 10:16 PM) Really? Everyone? I know that is not true. Just because you may have thought so, doesn't mean eveyone else did. That is really a ridiculous statement to make. Here you go. Take a look at it yourself. Seems like many liked the trade. Trade Reaction 80 - Great Trade 60 - Wait and see And a big fat 18 said terrible trade. That is definitely everyone. You ignore the part about people thinking higher of Young than Anderson? Which really is the only thing that matters because according to this the diamondbacks were willing to take Anderson instead? I still dont hate the trade, Vazquez is a pretty good starter, although I think we gave up 2 much in Young it could be worse.
  13. QUOTE(vandy125 @ Oct 5, 2007 -> 10:07 PM) I love me some 20/20 hind sight! This isnt really hindsight, everyone was upset at the deal at the time and everyone thought more of Young than Anderson. That being said people werent nearly as down on Anderson as they are now either just between the two.
  14. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 30, 2007 -> 10:28 PM) If they take anything but an olineman in the first round I'll throw up. In fact, I think they should take at least 3 lineman in the first day (one tackle and two guards...the tackle being the first rounder). Well I figure a perfect draft would be Jake Long and than Booty in the 1st couple of rounds. We get Long put him as LT, move Tait to RT and release Miller/Brown. Let Metcalf or however you spell it take over. Garza/Metcalf/Long are all good for awhile and Tait and especially Kreutz still have a few good years left and some mediocre ones. And than I just think Booty can be a very good pro, just under-appreciated even though he is on the number 2 team in college and all. Tough to follow Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart.
  15. So if this season continues down this route, would anyone be apposed to a draft of Jake Long and John David Booty in the first couple of rounds.
  16. You know I didnt expect our offense to all of a sudden become good, but I did expect Griese to protect the ball. The fact that he threw 3 picks and all critical ones too, 2 in redzone 1 for a td, makes me want Grossman back. Atleast with Grossman you got the possibility of a deep threat.
  17. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Sep 29, 2007 -> 10:34 PM) McGee has at least proven the first game of the year that he can throw the ball down field. Juice is just an absolutely brutal passer at the moment. Yeah, idk.... I personally dont mind giving Juice every opportunity to keep the job but if he is having a particular bad game/half switch it up for that game.
  18. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Sep 29, 2007 -> 07:52 PM) Whether she wants to admit it was a shot at her teammate or not I think it absolutely was. I agree with what shes saying but she shouldnt have said it. At least not to the media before her coach and/or teammates. If I was in her situation I would be pissed too. I have a feeling she is gonna get way too vilified for this even though she pretty much got voted off the island by her teammates. Her teamate deserved it though, she knew that she wasnt the best person for the job not only because at this point in their careers she was obviously the worse keeper and because she was cold going in, if she was any good teamate at all she would of told the coach im flattered by your decision but the right choice is to keep Solo in. Whats best for the team > best for you, especially with what she already has accomplished in the past.
  19. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Sep 29, 2007 -> 03:59 PM) 4-1 baby, McGee better start next week. Juice blows, per usual. McGee had that great run and all, but his passes werent any better than what Juice was throwing lol. I still think Juice will be the guy next week, I think atleast this year he is going to get every opportunity possible to be the starting QB of this team.
  20. QUOTE(greg775 @ Sep 26, 2007 -> 12:36 AM) How anybody can celebrate that hack Myers' implosion is beyond me. How anybody can stomach losing to those pissant Royals is beyond me. Finishing behind them in the standings should be embarrassing to all Sox fans. Finishing behind them (as much as I hate to say it) should cost every Sox exec their jobs. The Royals suck and we, SADLY, are worse. f*** draft picks! Give me wins! The Sox are a total embarrassment two years after being the best. quit whining, this season is lost does it matter if we finish behind the royals? Ill take a 90 win season and miss playoffs because we atleast were in contention, right now being ahead of the royals means nothing to me.

QUOTE(SoxAce @ Sep 22, 2007 -> 03:00 AM) I agree even though horrible is a bit of a stretch. What really made it bad was Ashanti's acting (R&B singer) God she was horrid, even though her part wasn't big. I just couldn't stand her acting for those 15-20 minutes even though she is nice to look at. Lol, how is horrible a stretch? There was nothing good about that entire movie besides i guess when she blew up all the crows. I loved the video games and enjoyed the first 2 movies but this one just flat out stunk. And I was actually really looking forward to it also.
  22. I have a feeling Rex might have another shaky game which could end his tenure as our starting QB, Idonno though I still have some hope for him.
  23. Id love to get Bill Hall, especially if all we gave up was Contreras. Fixes one of our 3 holes on the team in taking care of the SS position. We still need a LF and a CF though, I think Fields should be the starting 3B. I wonder if we would be able to get Hall and sign a guy like Hunter. Than for LF we can either put Fields there or let Sweeney/Owens battle out for it. Not a perfect lineup but a much improved one with basicly replacing Uribe/Erstad with Hall/Hunter.

QUOTE(SoxAce @ Sep 21, 2007 -> 11:53 PM) I saw Resident Evil today. Already saw 1 and 2 so I said what the hell. I saw it today too, it was such a horrible movie. I actually enjoyed the first couple even though they werent the greatest of movies, but this one was just terrible.
  25. yeah but HR's and RBI's are really big stats to look at when people make an MVP vote.... i think if they all had the same season this year Dawson would still win out. Now if your asking which player id personally vote for, prob davis.
