i got to think they are primarily going after eckstein... not only is he better than cora but he can play both ss and 2B but id have to think most of his time would be at 2B since his arm is a bit weak for SS.....also eckstein would look a lot better in our lineup over cora... I wouldnt mind cora but eckstein has to be the priority of the two in my opinion.. he is the definition of what ozzie wants and KW said they were looking for.

yeah cora doesnt really impress me much.. i mean sure he had that 18 ab against clement and hit a HR and his brother is our 3B coach... but he isnt that great and not a real upgrade to willie harris... eikstein on the other hand would be our starter and can hit 2nd in the lineup allowing rowand to move down in the order. i rather sign one of pierznski or eikstein then cora.

if we go and sign Pierzynski, eikstein, and then a guy like odalis perez or wade miller for the 5th spot... KW gets an A for the offseason.... if he gets odalis perez/wade miller and one of eikstein or pieryznski then a B anything else he is a failure.

when he was first traded here from seattle he said something about it being their fault for his hitting woes and that he recently had his dad help him on his swing... i dont remember exact quote but remember reading it. Yeah i dont have a major league career and he is obviously more talented than i am lol but i dont think he is talented enuf to be a major leaguer and the only reason he still in the league is because he was a number 1 overall pick... ive even heard some reports on ben davis saying he is worse now than he was when first drafted.

when i say ben davis is trash im referring to he is not a good major league player... Also i dont like players who dont take blame for their own problems like davis did blaming seattle..... personally id rather give burke a million dollars who just didnt get in the major leagues because he was a number 1 overall pick

Ben Davis is trash but i guess he might make out to be a decent backup catcher.... i really think burke is going to fall off the radar and last year was a fluke so if we sign pieryznski its still a good move

i think i read somewhere there were 19,000 some in attendence how does that compare to the avg of the league?

i think it was KW's top priority coming into the offseason

i wouldnt be to sure about that qwerty the pistons havent been playing at the same level they were last year.... they definitely the favorites but dont count us out yet.

what would make the eikstein signing even better is it could bring rowand down in the order like either 3rd or 5th...

i dont know why you guys are hating eli manning unlike most players he spent like 4 or 5 years in college and the only reason he didnt believe in going to the chargers is because his father didnt want him on a losing team his whole career like he was.... if you were a QB on the New Orleans like archie manning was you would be concerned where your son played too... obviously they picked the wrong place in the end lol.

dye is a good RF and he has the best arm of the bunch so he is fine in RF.... and Rowand might not be as fast but ive seen pods play CF and ive seen Rowand play CF and in my opinion Rowand is better...
