well a rotation of prior, wood, zambrano, and maddux is top 3 if not top 1 in my book... and if glendon rusch is as good as he was last year id say they be easy number 1 but if he sucks sirgio mitre isnt that bad of a 5th starter

yeah with full seasons id think rowand get somewhere in the 20's... uribe either high teens or 20's.. ross gload around 10 depending on how much he plays and podsenick 50 +... and if willie starts id say at least 30 now that valentin is gone and uribe is our everyday SS

last year he had a really bad lineup behind him with rowand behind him he see better pitches and even though he hit less last year he stole more so its all good

cotts got the era after his start... and adkins was really pitching hurt about the whole year... baj looked good in the minors but he was pretty bad in the majors.

we still need i think either pieryznski or that japanese 2B dude i think to be serious contenders.... id say of the 2 pieryznski is the biggest need if we have to we can always trade willie harris for robbie alomar at the deadline

our pen is a lot different with hermason and vizquaino or whatevr those guys along with marte and shingo are the guys we are relying on also all the rooks got bad era from their starts really except baj who was just bad all around

i dont think KW would hesistate to sign iguchi if he came only for 2 million... he would bring in more fan's just because he is asian because unlike shingo he is a position player who the fans would see more of.

muhsin muhammed would be awesome add that with a draft of idonno mike williams or clayton.... that would make our WR corps a strength... we could also prob trade up like our gm always likes to get clayton

i still dont see what people see in cora.... he isnt that good and isnt even a real upgrade over willie harris... his 1 highlight of the season was that 18 ab against clement...... now that japanese guy id like if we took a risk on him he would be an awesome number 2 hitter and puts rowand down to 3 where his power will be better

i really really like this signing....id have to think he be the 5th starter so we dont overdo his arm and that easily gives us the best 5th starter in the league... also if he gets injured mid-season like many people think so... mebe by that time a certain minor league prospect well be rdy to make his first start in the pro's... but what makes this signing ever better is we didnt spend like 7-8 million a year so it gives us room to sign a guy like eckstein or pryznski

im not positive but i dont think cora has played ss....which makes it all the better for us to sign eckstein because then we have insurance all around our infield...if uribe struggles eck goes to ss if harris struggles eck goes to 2B if crede struggles uribe goes to 3rd and eckstein goes to ss..... now only if we can sign eckstein and AJ than we have an actual complete team
