power numbers in japan is different than here... although he could hit a lot of HR's i think his avg would be rather poor and his OBP low....and im not sure about this but he doesnt look like he would be a great defender either.

i just hope if he trades one of those guys its for the biggest hole we have which is a SP..... i know the leadoff spot is another need but if we got a SP i would be fine with rowand leading off and willie or uribe hitting 2nd.. or pieryznski

yeah anytime you can get production hitting wise from your catching spot you got to take it.. and i think he would try harder in those 19 games against the twins... a course he wouldnt trash talk his beloved twins but he would have incentive to play extra good against them...I also think if this happens he wont catch for buehrle lol just a hunch

i think next year when howard established more of an offensive touch to go around with his already stellar rebounding they be a great team that will score more than they do now

i have accepted that RJ isnt coming here... arizona's signing of glaus and ortiz makes you think their trying to sign the neccesary people to keep RJ in arizona...

if getting rid of lee lands us a pitcher of ben sheets caliber so be it as long as none of the other pitchers in our rotation our part of the package....With Clee gone we got everett to play LF and he can contribute for a year and if he falters it just makes room for brian anderson.... but again and i stress this especially with carlos lee, he only goes for a solid number 2 pitcher at least... so if ben sheets for clee was straight up hell yeah id do it... not only would we easily have the best rotation we would have money to sign les say polanco the trade that really had me interested was the oliver perez one idont care about prospects if you can get a young pitcher that good you give them all they want in our minors.

personally after seeing baj pitch last year id rather have diaz in the bullpen.... now i know a lot of people here like baj and maybe he can end up being decent but its my opinion that diaz has a lot more upside... and i think munoz could use another year in the minors.

yeah the magic are a fun team to watch this year it seems i cant wait till we meet them.

if you hate the sox so much why by a fan of the team go watch the marlins you seem to like them a lot... Why dont you look at the teams KW put together and match them up position by position to the twins and see who should of won rather than blame management think about blaming the guys who really determine the outcome in the players... and injuries never help

im sorry but ill be forever pissed if thomas jones starts next week he has been outplayed by anthony thomas and the whole reason he was brought in for his amazing catching abilities which he totally messed up today... he is a good backup and nothing more.

vernon wells has more value than konerko so lets just leave it at that.... id think only way we get wells if carlos lee was involved in the trade

you must be rating his whole defensive career on 1 play in the playoffs but if you look in the same year im pretty sure he had the best fielding percentage of all SS's.... he might not have some awesome jose valentin range but he does good enuf and doesnt make errors.

braves fans dont even like russ ortiz and he walks way too many people and would get rocked in the AL especially in the Cell.... although he isnt a bad pitcher id rather spend the money on something else and im glad he isnt ours.

idonno at frank's age i know Carl is only like 3 or 4 years younger and he wont put up an OBP close to franks but he can run a little faster and if he is in shape can hit the ball well and its always nice to have a switch hitter in the lineup

well i guess you can look at it this way last year timo perez was our backup OF... Everett is a helluva lot better then timo ever will be... although i still remember that angels game where timo hit it in the clutch and the marlins game...

well he is going to start the season as DH it seems so it wont take long to find out if he is in shape... if he is their is a potential .285 avg with 20-30some HR's

has carlos even ever played 1B id think he be more of a butcher there and especially with a guy like uribe wipping the ball at him

i dont see us moving carlos lee to 1B after he just got comfortable at LF and we got a crowded OF as it is any more signings we make wont be for an outfielder or at least as a starter anyways.
