well i rather have lee/gload over konerko/alou..... alou is a liability in the field he is old and b4 these past 2 injuries hurt him and he is money that can be better spent elswhere... in lee/gload we get 2 productive players and if you have forgotten already gload finished the season with a 16 game hitting streak and gets paid like nothing.

i 2 wonder how so many people undervalue carlos lee.. but those same people think konerko is like some god.... i wish those people would look at his splits, you dont need to pay a guy 8 million to only show up for home games and be totally s*** on the road.

id actually rather see diaz and munoz in the bullpen over adkins... they both i think can be better then him.. and both thrived in the bullpen when they were put there.

the thing against shingo is japanese pitchers are known to have 1 good year and then it seems hitters catch up to them... so it would be really smart to have insurance on shingo.

i swear people make 2 much of a deal about the AL and the NL... 1 batter isnt going to make an extreme change of a pitcher... yeah being in the NL will help you get in extra K and an easy out but its only 1 batter... and most DH's arent amazing hitters... the only ones that were really good this year was hafner and ortiz

if you watched thomson's 2nd half on the rangers last year i think a lot of people might have

i dont know why everyone is so against trading aaron rowand... has no one ever heard of sell high buy low....rowands value is more right now then its probably ever going to be.. he is young cheap and coming off a good season... but he isnt established enough to be 100% he will do it again.,... rowand has a chance to be a good player yeah but not great and with RJ on our team are pitching rotation is seriously awesome 1-5 with the real only ? being contreras Also RJ's contract isnt straight up 16 million a lot of its deffered and i think its more then just the two years

a trade for pierre and then FA signings of polanco and russ ortiz is realistic i think and could push our team over the top...assuming konerko is part of the pierre deal CF Pierre 2B Polanco DH Frank Thomas LF Carlos Lee RF Aaron Rowand 1B Ross Gload 3B Joe Crede SS Juan Uribe C Davis/Burke the lineup can potentially have .300 hitters from 1-6 and if crede has truly fixed his swing and uribe's season wasnt a fluke id take that lineup anyday of the week. as for the bullpen i think it can be solid with the additions of felix diaz and or munoz/baj... especially since cotts got a decent year done the Starting rotation would be really solid in 1. Garcia 2. Buehrle 3. Russ Ortiz 4. Jose Contreras 5. Jon Garland im not advocationg signing russ ortiz im just going with likely scenerios... with pierre and polanco and ortiz being difference makers and not costing an arm and a leg.

well this could be the first official bulls team that has showed emotion since the jordan era... got to love it... even if they dont do that well this year i think they might be pretty exciting to watch, especially if ben gordon gets his act together.

eh what are you talking about a s***ty browns team they have had that solid recieving crew for awhile during couch's career there... kevin johnson, quincy morgan, northcutt, andra davis... those guys are all solid recievers... better then our core and couch couldnt get it done there

i dont know what are you talking about a-rod... they had good hitters all around last year juan gonzalez and carl everett for both basicly the first half were good... palmiero was good all year round and tex, blalock, and michael young were ok last year too... its pitching that lost it for them last year and its pitching that lost if for them this year

hey i dont mind a way to right handed lineup especially since our problems this year seemed to come against lefties odd enough.

ive watched the angels during the season and i had percival on my fantasy team and he was awesome after the injury...

of all those teams i think with quinn starting we are worse.. the cardinals have been close in all there games mostly and boldin should be coming back in a couple of weeks i think they can get 5 wins easy... the worse team on that list is probably miami and with quinn starting our offense is as bad as theres and our defense isnt as good

i dont think we will sign a 1B in the off season and the sox organization hasnt hinted too that at all... plus sexson is totally the opposite of ozzie ball it would almost defeat the purpose of trading konerko to get sexson

well i dont mind quinn starting again.... maybe if he gets enuf starts this year he can be a decent backup next year... especially if grossman went down again for the season or for a game.

idonno what you were watching but diaz was horrible starting.... grilli did better then him starting.... but if i had to choose one of them being on the team it would be diaz out of the pen where he would thrive

even though we are 1-2 in the preseason im pretty impressed in curry so far and chandler i think is going to be just fine... deng and niocioni or howevr seem to be a good 1-2 punch.. I think a lot of are season will depend on how ben gordon does so far his shooting has been horrid except his free throw shooting thats been good
