didnt the diamondbacks just win a world series recently without a good bullpen..... a bullpen is important but the starting rotation is more... i much rather have us pick of les say a guy like odalis perez then any RP out there.... there really is only 2 guys i value as much as SP and that would be gagne and rivera just because they are so good its hard to pass on them

i wouldnt mind if diaz and or munoz competed for a bullpen spot because i think both of them can be effective there but grilli is just complete trash maybe he is an ok 7th starter but thats all he is a backup for the backup

i hope nomar doesnt come to the sox.... not that he isnt a good player i just think we can spend money better else where

overall though i like the schedule a lot more then this years especially since our longest home stand isnt when its still cold outside

yeah but most of mulder's bad stats have been from just a horrible horrible september before that he was awesome the whole season...... but even though jon garlands numbers dont show it i think as a pitcher he has improved and next year he will get past that 12 win mark

well i wouldnt mind him getting the starting nod if we upgrade elsewhere... it would be a dream come true if we give magz a 1 year heavy incentive deal sign beltran and then a guy like russ ortiz or odalis perez and trade konerko and rowand for some solid players all around but that would be 2 good to be true

is it just me or has he been on a hot streak of late seems like he started it when we were just but eliminated.... has his september earn him another chance at the hot corner next year?

i think contreras will either be amazing or s***ty but i think he can get 13-14 wins next year.... and garland i predict 14-15 wins next year assuming he is our 5th and we dont totally suck at hitting on this team

the first trade we did for everett was traded some decent prospects and he helped us out.. if anything it wasnt his fault we lost last year..... this time we gave them junk and he has been junk for us.... i guess you get what you give

well whatevr anyways we played him after he wasnt back 2 long from an injury so you got to give him a break this year 2 especially if he shows up fit for next year's team

idonno but how sure are you he was playing LF im almost positive it was CF

idonno everett in shape could be very very good.... he is a good hitter... this year he was hurt by injuries and that expos game when he helped us with his poor defense im almost positive he was playing CF that game which requires a lot more range then the corner spots.... so if he gets in shapes with the kind of hitter he can be and i think at RF or LF his defense should be ok he might be well worth that 4 million.... or on the otherhand he can be a total waste

yeah his defense has been good but ive seen some sloppy routes to most of the time he had reflexes to recover though... the fact is he is a fine CF but is a better RF

ok peter warrick is worse or at least the same as burress... i cant even believe you rate branch and givens higher then burress/ward... donte stallworth has done absolutely nothing and joe horn is ill give you harrison/wayne, darrel jackson/koren robinson, and issac/holt

way i look at it is.... garland isnt the reason we lost... the reasons we lost go as follows 1. injuries to frank and maggz 2. loaiza being so s***ty 3. Dan Wright sucking because he was in need of surgery 4. Santana winning every game for the twins 5. Oakland A's owning us so bad

the guy we traded to texas i think throws upper 90's francisco rodriguez or whatevr... you know the guy that threw a chair at a fan... he would of been awesome in our bullpen this year

garland is young and if it wasnt for our home park is era would be in the 4's and dont look now but both mulder and zito have an era in the 4's so i think everyone needs to get off his back he is only 24 he has plenty of time to improve i mean he is fuken 24 there are a lot of people who dont even reach the majors at 24 so wait till he is at least 26-28 b4 we start ripping on how he sucks...

im sorry but the cubs have not been there many times and choked they were close last year yeah but other then that they been pretty s***ty throughout history we have been more successful then the cubs.... thats why i think they gain more fans from the curse so the sooner its gone the sooner we can all go about living our lives

personally i think carlos lee would help our team more then PK next year but thats not saying PK is a cool guy
