i really dont care if Levine says we have no more money to spend he is also the one who said he would put his job on the line that we would sign vizquel... although i do like him a lot better than marrioti i just dont trust him especially when we got a guy like KW as our gm

the guys i want our nick johnson and odalis perez... perez being a solid pitcher and not too expensive and johnson being that he has a lot of potential and although injured often wouldnt really cost a lot.

yeah with renteria here it makes uribe a super sub which i think is something he can thrive in doing and it keeps everyone else getting good playing time like crede and willie..

why i would like renteria right now our greatest need after the dye signing is a SP hopefully either perez or clement off of FA.

no KW hasnt really said much about renteria or polanco but both have recieved a lot of mention on this board of guys we are interested in my take on it is KW is interested in everyone

let me put it this way dont even try to guess whats going on in KW's mind and what his plans are its hopeless

im really hoping adkins or cotts is dealt which would give felix diaz and or munoz honest shots at a chance in the bullpen... and of the 2 i think cotts has more upside and he also seemed to me pitched a lot more last year than adkins. I just hope if diaz has another good spring training and then does good in the minors again we do something with him.

trading for sheets might cost a lot but not as much as that oliver perez deal someone else mentioned.... while i would be happy with sheets regardless the price unless like it was buehrle which wont happen id prefer we sign odalis perez who is a FA and we dont lose any players. Or maybe we sign Perez then use a package of garland and like anderson or something to get Sheets now that would be one hell of a rotation and with KW anything can happen

is it just me or do others think that mebe as a setup man for a full season dustin hermanson can have an era in the 2's or low 3's. IN DUSTY WE TRUSTY

Kirk's shot has really improved from what ive seen of him and gordon's shot is already awesome which can lead to a solid back court for years to come the real question i wonder is what will happen if/when jay williams comes back?

yeah if it comes down to it id prefer renteria over JD Drew although if it comes down to it i wouldnt mind either one

yeah he gave up 4 runs twice and it looks like 2 runs twice since he was made a reliever but for the most part he looked solid and also it was his first time as a closer in a race for the playoffs so that might of put extra pressure on him too

if he truly does become our 5th starter ill be really dissapointed but as a reliever and maybe 6th starter incase something happens ill be fine w/ that.

cairo is a solid player i think especially if he comes off the bench that would be an awesome bench bat

yeah i love KW as a gm... he makes trades and he isnt afraid to trade prospects who more likely wont turn out for proven talent.... we were just as good if not better than the twins when our lineup was healthy so there is no point on pointing the finger at anyone last year. Lets judge KW on a year where are 2 best players dont go down.

the only catcher i wanted was kendall but now that he is gone i think we will just have to settle for our 2 scrubs because no one else except variteck who wants 2 much is worth getting

yeah im not thrilled about magglio but its pretty dumb to fault a guy for wanting as much money as possible....i wish things turned out differently but they are the way they are.

its pretty obvious if we signed him he would be nothing but a bench player some people need to calm down.... i know you all are wanting some big signing or trade to go down but until then dont start critisizing the small ones thinking that were doomed.

top 3 or phoenix gets it next year and then the year after its number 1 overall or phoenix gets it and then year after its a 1st round conditional pick so sometime down the road we will lose it but with how young this team is i think we are safe for the upcoming draft

yeah haynes should get enuf playing time at DT and DE to keep him satisfied i still think we need another good DT though....but oh well if we upgrade seriously on offense Ian Scott will be good enuf

yes our offense is obviously not good at all.... but a large part of the blame goes to just the total blackhole we have at QB.... even if quinn and krenzel had all the time in the world i doubt they could be good in the NFL.... i dont blame krenzel too much 5th-6th round rookie isnt expected to play but the point is if we had anyone that could complete a pass as QB our offense could be good enuf
