(Nia Jax is that crazy fatass lady) My Pick: Nia Jax Commentary: In all likelihood, Jax *should* get the win. She's the dominating force that is being pushed. Problem is, WWE is bat s*** crazy with booking. Tough one to call due to that, could easily see sasha banks getting the win with the way WWE works. 2. 1 POINT: Tag Team Match: Cesaro/Sheamus vs. Luke Gallows/Karl Anderson My pick: Cesaro/Sheamus Commentary: If Gallows/Anderson lose, then WTF WWE? Seriously, these guys are the best legit team on Raw, just let them do their thing and kill people to set up some sort of Enzo/cass vs. Anderson/Gallows at mania. The tag teams are there for the division to work, the booking is not. The reason why this is tough to pick is because it is on the pre-show. Due to that, I pick Cesaro/Sheamus and the continual terrible booking of Anderson/Gallows. 3. 1 POINT: 3 vs. 3 : Nikki Bella, Naomi, Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Natalya. My pick: Alexa Bliss, Mickie, Natalya BONUS: Extra 1 point if you guess which girl gets the pin for the victory. My pick: Mickie 4. 1 POINT, Cruiserweight Championship: Rich Swann vs. Neville My pick: Neville Commentary: Just give the title to Neville and let him demolish people up to Mania. 5. 1 POINT, Woman's Champ: Charlotte vs. Bayley My pick: Charlotte Commentary: Likely easiest pick on the card. If Bayley wins, I riot! Booking has to be right, Bayley's title should start at 'Mania after getting made a fool of for a little while and picking up crowd momentum. If they give it to her here that would be utterly stupid and make the women's title feel meaningless (hot potato !) 6. 2 POINT, WWE TITLE: Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns My pick: Kevin Owens Commentary: Oh God, what a tough one to pick. So much is riding on this match. Will Vince want Reigns to go to WM being the man? Will it be Reigns vs. Taker? Or will Vince give the fans an Owens vs. Jericho for the title? Or what's the plan here? Odds for this match keep going back and forth. Tough one to call 7. 2 POINT, WWE TITLE: AJ Styles vs. John Cena My pick: John Cena Commentary: Another tough one to call. After last week, I have to go with Styles. They still have Elimination Chamber to screw him out of the belt if they want. Cena hasn't been on TV too long, basically made Styles look like a fool last SD. A styles win here is big for him. 8. ROYAL RUMBLE 3 POINTS IF YOU GET IT RIGHT: You can pick 1 name, and 4 numbers. Numbers have to be between 1 and 30. Some of the best names: Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, Sami Zyan, Samoa Joe My pick: Randy Orton #'s: 11, 16, 27, 28 Commentary: I was thinking between Orton vs. Wyatt vs. Taker, didn't know which one to pick. I think 'Taker shouldn't win the Rumble, that might be what they are leading at as his likely matches are either vs Cena/Reigns or an outside chance of Styles/Balor, which 3/4 of those guys are involved in the title right now, but I think they'll likely pass on 'Taker winning the Rumble. That left the only logical choice being the feud of Orton vs. Wyatt. I think Orton > Wyatt in terms of chances to win the Rumble. Honestly, I hope it's Jericho or a young up and comer. Looks like Samoa Joe will be debuting on the main roster. I don't think he was in any of the taped episodes and obviously not on Takeover last night. I wonder if he will get involved in Cena/Styles to set up his likely Mania match or if it will just be a rumble participant. Hm.

There was a backstage rumour suggesting that Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title will happen at 'Mania. (Where one of them wins the Rumble, the other wins it at EC). I think that is a pretty logical rumour. I am SUPER excited for the Royal Rumble. I haven't been this excited for an event since last years Wrestlemania (which let me down unbelievably). I am sure to be let down at this event, but hopefully not as bad. The betting odds drastically changed last night to where Owens is now the favorite. I *really* don't want Reigns to win.... he is awful. f***ING awful. I'd much prefer he face 'Taker in a 1on1 mid card match at WM or something. Just stay away from my boy and the title (owens). Also, I *HATE* how we've seen Reigns vs. Owens now quite often. Why do this to us WWE writers? If this match was a fresh match, I'd be more interested. In any event, it's likely here that Reigns wins, Owens and Jericho start to have problems. Charlotte vs. Bayley: BAYLEY IS LIFE. She is literally the John Cena of the Woman's division and means so much for the product right now. Which makes it all the more puzzling the way they are handling her on Raw. It's been said by everybody, but WTF? Hopefully, the plan is to have her fight fight fight until Wrestlemania where she becomes the hugger champion of the world! They NEED to get better stories/writing on the Bayley front. I have never rooted for a face wrestler like I root for Bayley! (I even go around my home doing her entrance). She's the ONLY wrestler that I'd consider buying merchandise from. THE HUG LIFE. Once again, why have we seen Charlotte vs. Bayley so often on WWE lately? Why not have Bayley legitimize herself vs other wrestlers? Why can't wwe raw in the 3 hour show find a better way to build up bayley and protect bayley vs. charlotte from becoming "too much". Styles vs. Cena : Everyone on the rajah team picked Styles which I found very suprising. I thought Cena was the favorite here. In any case, I hope Styles retains and I really don't want him to face Shane at 'Mania. Maybe Taker vs. Styles? Cool? Royal Rumble Match: Odds on favorite is Undertaker, followed by Orton. Seems reasonable to expect one of those two to win. Not sure as of yet how I want the rumble to go down.

I'm watching the 2004 Royal Rumble on dailymotion and my GOD this s*** is jam packed. Cena, Eddie Guerro, Chavo, Rey Mysterio, HBK, Jericho, Kane, Rikishi, Hardys, Edge and Christian, Team Angle, RVD, just to name a few! Practically every guy in there has been a world champion (ok, maybe like 20 of them). Only a few outliners. Do you think today's roster matches up at all with roster in 2004?

I could see them having finn balor win the rumble as well, but that is slightly unexpected. If they had built it up a little bit better they really could have had an amazing WM moment with Sami going over Owens for his first title victory. Would be a big time face win. Unfortunately, they haven't really developed it going into the rumble as a storyline. Also, they'll likely have Owens lose to Reigns and we've seen Zayn vs. Owens now like 3-4 times. Ah well. I'm realllllly curious to see how they fit everyone into great matches at WM. We already have a WM card looking like: Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns Triple H vs. Seth Rollins Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens Bray Waytt vs. Randy Orton Big Show vs. Shaquille O'Neal Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax That leaves out potentially Ambrose, Miz, Balor, Cena, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Shane McMahon, SD Live Womans Title, Tag Titles on both brands.

I will gladly take it if I am wrong, but... I think this has absolutely no chance of coming true. Cass is cool, good, and could be in line for a push sometime in the next 2 years, but hes with Enzo now, if they want to push a big man.. why not Braun Strowman? I'm not buying cass. I think it could be Zayn or Miz. They've been amazing for the product. I'd really prefer to keep Miz at IC level as he has made that an amazing title. Rumor has it that orton is winning the rumble... and wyatt winning elimination chamber setting up their match. Meh. That's OKish I guess. I'd be somewhat cool with Orton winning the rumble. Rumor has it that Cena vs. Samoa Joe at WM 33 could take place. Not sure how I feel about that either, I guess that'd be pretty cool. Hopefully it won't be over the title? Hm. The bad thing is, I don't really want anyone to win it other than Nakumara/Zyan for personal reasons or Jericho for legit storyline reasons (and personal). Naku and Zyan being extreme underdogs. I also saw a report earlier stating that Styles/Owens will likely lose their titles for Mania. That'd be seriously unfortunate.

Jeez, a lot of you guys need to just take a deep breath and let the baseball off season do it's thing. It's been very slow, we have no idea what offers Hahn *really* has on the table right now. I'm not sure, but I highly doubt that most GMs are sitting here working tooth and nail over a trade every single day of the off season. Just let things be, it's still January, only.

3 hour raw is insane... its self-evident when they show the SAME damn replay segments 2-4 times! I've seen the Brock segment twice, the nia jax segment twice. I DONT NEED TO SEE IT TWICE.

This raw has been awful. Cruiserweight division is a joke. New day has nothing useful to do anymore. Tribute to Snukka, the murderer. Argh

Quick rant: The Club. So, tonight, they had their tag title match vs. Cesaro and Sheamus. f*** YOU RAW BOOKING. HOLY s***. It's bad enough that the club (and every other undercard/midcard) has been booked to be AWFUL, but they have Sheamus knock the ref out and then The club pins Cesaro for the titles... only for the ref to wake up and declare a DQ? WTF? Just f***ing awful! They... screwed... the Heels out of the titles... lmao.

I think it has more to do with the complete and utter failure of Raw booking. Owens pre title - cant miss TV for me. After title -- Owens fazed out and the title is meaningless. Lame! Styles vs. Shane would be lame as well. Styles should be putting on 5* matches at mania. I'd be somewhat OK with a styles vs. Taker match. Meh.

I agree with this as well... giving Finn Balor the Universal title and a Rumble win is a bit... much for a guy that's barely been on the main roster. However, he is my #3 as I literally don't want any of the other guys to win. Now I feel sad about the rumble. Ah.

I agree and if they both lose, I will be devastated. Really... If Reigns goes into WM again as champion... I don't even know WTF they are thinking. I am holding out hope that it is Owens vs. Jericho for the Belt on that end. What have you heard about AJ at 'Mania? I haven't heard much... I am wondering who the hell he will face? I guess Orton is a possibility, or Samoa Joe... but a random Joe feud for 'mania really would suck, unless it's for the belt, then its OK. Cena should be taking on Taker in a non-title feud.

I see the Rumble as a big point of direction for me. I want to know whether we are going to get borefest for 'Mania or legit awesomeness. What I want: 1. Nakumara to win it all and face AJ at 'Mania (very unlikely as Naku likely won't be involved, but my ideal scenario). 2. Jericho -- This would set up Owens vs. Jericho, which I think, Needs to happen. It's a perfect story. Also, this would add to Jericho's great achievements (a rumble victory). 3. Zayn - Zayn vs. Owens would be fun, but we've seen it... 100 times. Nonetheless, they never fail to deliver and this would give Zayn the much deserved attention. 4. Samoa Joe - Setting up Joe vs. Styles, meh, I only am OK with this as it isn't one of the other bore fest wrestlers. 5. Finn Balor - Yes (edited this response in, as I forgot about him, he would go to #3 if I could re-do this). Things I don't really want: 1. Taker - by no means does he deserve this or should be anywhere near the title. 2. Lesnar / Berg - Same reason above. 3. Strowman - NOOOOOOOOOOOOO 4. Rollins - Has to face HHH for the big payoff match, so nty. 5. Ambrose - F*cking boring, please, NO. 6. Miz - I guess I'd be Ok with him winning, but he has giving the IC title some prestige and importance that no1 else in the company has done to a title belt. Stay there and do Godly things with the IC title belt. It's weird, I was really hyped for the rumble match, but after looking at this roster, I don't really give a damn about any of these guys winning it. Even my #2, Jericho, I kinda am like 'Eh...'. Nakumara is the only one that would make me mark out. Any of the other possibilities would make me pissed (taker / lesnar / berg / strow / rollins / ambrose). Edit: I am cool with Finn Balor winning this as well. Just not sure who I'd want him to face.. I'd prefer it to be Owens vs. Jericho for the title on Raw. I'm OK with Balor vs. AJ Styles, that would be pretty damn intriguing. But the other options don't fit well with me ... Balor vs. Reigns = f*** no, Balor vs. Cena = maybe, but eh.

I know that the reports mean nothing and we can never truly understand what is going on in the offices of the GM's, but jeez astros... first their *apparently* going after Archer, now their focused on Gray? Hello guys, you have an ace in Quintana waiting to be traded. Quintana > Gray right now after Gray's disastrous season last year and Gray will likely cost similar to Quintana. Archer is going to cost more than Q and also didn't have that great of a season. It's like they want to get all risky with Gray/Archer but see Quintanas consistency and say ehhh not flashy enough, sry!

I think Braves/Astros as the destination (I choose braves). I wish it would be the cubs or rockies.

I agree with your words Y2HH. The Royal rumble should tell a lot about the direction here.. A lot of bad could happen.. Lesnar/ Goldberg/ Taker winning the rumble = very bad. Cena over styles = ughh Roman over Owens = ugh. I'm expecting to be let down big time.

Here's kind of my hopeful card for WM: WWE Universal: Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho WWE Title: Aj Styles vs. Nakumara Lesnar vs. Goldberg HHH vs. Rollins 'Taker vs. Cena Strowman vs. Roman Shaq vs. Big Show Bayley vs. Charlotte vs. Banks vs. Nia (I kind of prefer just Bayley vs. Charlotte, but it'll likely be a 4-way to get more people on the show) Open ladder match for one of IC or US title (likely IC) with players from both brands competiting Tag Team title matches Alexa vs. Becky Come to think of it, I'm not sure how they are going to fit everything on the card. Lol, they have so much titles now. Not sure WTF their doing with the 'Taker/Cena match. Rumor has it that it was called off, but I think that is just WWE spreading s***. Taker has no1 else to face (maybe finn balor?). Roman reigns is guaranteed a BORE-fest match, either with Strowman or vs. Taker if he ends up facing him. I don't think Nakumara is going to be on the WM card... I realllyyyy wish it was Naku vs. Styles, but it's more likely to be Joe vs. Styles. Cena likely winnning championship #16 at WM or royal rumble...

Samoa Joe is supposed to get a big push on the main roster soon (possibly at the rumble) and be involved in one of the two main matches? I have trouble believing this rumor, but if it it so then that's kinda cool... I just wish, instead, it would be Nakumara coming on at the Rumble, winning the match, and facing Styles at 'Mania. We had Undertaker announce that he is looking to win the Rumble match. That is annoying. It seems like he would be the odds on favorite to win and get involved with Cena somehow. Which would mean a) Cena with the title over styles = SUCKS. and b) Taker winning the rumble and going to WM for a title shot = SUCKS. In any event, the actual rumble match is looking HUGE with combatants such as Lesnar, Goldberg, Undertaker, Rollins, Jericho, Strowman, others... On another note: Wtf does WWE do with guys/gals like Nia Jax and B. Strowman? Their booked too dominant to simply be realistic.

Best time of wrestling is ramping up. Last year I was invested in WWE throughout the Rumble to Wrestlemania, but WWE truly failed me with the pathetic offering that was last years Wrestlemania (HHH vs Reigns, Lesnar vs. Ambrose, etc.). This year, we have a lot of interesting things progressing, but it starts with the Rumble. A lot could go wrong... Raw title.. I *hope* that Reigns is NOT near the raw title main event. He should stick in a feud with Strowman over the US title. If he wins at the Rumble over Owens, I will be devasted as it will likely mean a s***ty feud with strowman headlining Raw's mania. Currently, I think the most likely scenario is that Jericho accidently screws over owens at the rumble, costing him the belt, and allowing owens vs. Jericho to happen at the Rumble. Unfortunate.... as it should be over the title, both men deserve it. On Smackdown, we have cena vs styles, currently, people believe cena will take on 'taker at WM, perhaps for the title. It would also be devasting to see Cena go over styles at the rumble only to face Taker at WM for the title. It's silly and doesn't need to be that way. Cena vs. Taker is a marquee match up on it's own and should not be used for the title. Styles deserves a marquee title match against someone. Other notables.. Goldberg vs. Brock is a nice matchup (once again, outside of titles). HHH vs. Rollins should be a nice matchup, but HHH needs to get more involved if that match is going to progress, I hate these matches that you can predict 8 months in advance, but do not progress storyline wise for such a long time. Rumble winner... I would LOVE for it to be Nakumara only for him to face Styles at WM, that'd be incredible... but unlikely. I wonder who Styles opponent at 'Mania will be.... Maybe a Jericho win of the Rumble to set up vs. Owens?
