makes no fucking sense to have lamb at 2 but we are the #1 team in MLB, best run differential, numerous power rankings have us #1 or at least in the top 3, so fuck it, management/TLR can do w.e. they want because results are showing for a team that has had 2 critical injuries. just enjoying the ride im sure in 1 or 1.5 months from now when things start to hit the shitter, i'll be at their throats

Honestly, the top 5 of the lineup isn't bad at all. Grandal at 6 is okayish. 7-9 obviously horrid. We really don't have any kids we can give a shot in the minors over what we are trotting out there??

I think it's something. If teams that need OF help are seeking Joey Gallo, there's movement for a trade. IMO it's very obvious that the rangers SHOULD look to trade Gallo. And when Heyman says 'teams' he could pretty much mean the Chicago White Sox. lol. I've been calling for Gallo since last year, he's the perfect fit on this ball club as he plays great defense and can hit power against our nemesis right handed batters. The price is the tricky part. All in all, he really shouldn't cost TOO much, i mean, he's only got 2 years left, he has a terrible average, is off to a bad start. I'd be absolutely thrilled if they went out and got Gallo, albeit, a year too late.

we saw this coming miles away when he should have been focused on reaching the next level of his baseball career, he decided to make a music video. He's going to never reach that high potential. He'll be good just based off talent, but he's fine keeping it at that level.

1) Can we keep this win streak going against a LHP??? This seems like an awesome match up for us to dominate. I'll be kind of disappointed if we lose this one! 2) Jesse Winker as a trade candidate? Hell yeah. But I highly doubt that. Reds won't sell too early

lmao, and then we get this terrible thread... 1) Let's not pretend that these were our only options. Many of us wanted the front office to actually put the money into the ball club. 2) It's far too early Eaton has done a decent job. It seems like he started off strong, then went on a slump, and is now doing okayish. Most importantly, he's staying on the field. How long will this last? I don't think too long.

I don't like most of VAfan's overly optimistic, but highly detailed posts, but this is really an awesome one. Thank you for brining this to our attention (sans any mention of that horrid manager TLR). I am a firm believer in the OBP approach and avoiding the HR or nothing game. Seeing these stats made me really happy and more confident in our offensive abilities as a team.

lucas looks bad, needs to get fixed. Very lucky/fortunate for the stat line today really amazing what this team is doing given the injuries and shithole of a manager to deal with. really being carried by kopech/rodon/cease doing amazing things. Run differential is insanely impressive.

Truly pathetic. Even when it first began, I was always super upset at TLR taking out Vaughn so early in games. As others have mentioned, he isn't bad in LF. I haven't seen him screw up yet. B-Ham, J-Lamb, and N-Willy should not be on the roster, plain and simple.

welp, it's been a tough start to the season for us sox fans, but we sit in a good spot record wise. the TLR manager debacle has started off as everyone has expected...horribly. Our depth has been challenged and it has not been successful. tonight we have a game against the budding young royals, should be pretty fun. baseball is a beautiful game with so much balance. Such a wonderful sport.
