Came in here to say that I'd be really worried about trading for Adam Frazier only for him to be a bench bat the rest of the way, no better than some of our current lackluster options. I'd prefer to strike bigger

Here's one good thing: Our early lead in the division allows us some precious days/week(s) to take our time on it. I'm not advocating for waiting on improving, but I don't feel entirely rushed to go out and make a poor decision.

Love this graph. Based on this graph, the White Sox, Dodgers and Astro's are really top notch. Padres/Giants are close too. It always amazes me with how poor some of our offensive contributors/names are, we are a pretty solid offensive team.

FWIW, Haniger wwas forced to leave game due to fouling a ball off his knee. Looked kinda bad. Don't know if there's any recent updates (happened 2 hours ago). I'm a big Marte fan (starlin and of course Ketel).

Great pitching match up tonight Struggling Lucas who seems to be on the right path and emerging Tarik Skubal. Looking forward to it, let's hope our success against Detroit continues. So very happy that our injured white sox took 2 out of 3 from the Jays.

Just collecting some thoughts: 2b: Adam Frazier Ketel Marte Eduardo Escobar Cesar Hernandez Thoughts: I have not seen any rumors that Ketel Marte is even on the trading block. Regardless, the White Sox have almost NOTHING of interest to the Diamondbacks in a ketel trade. This is a fantasy (an amazing one). Eduardo Escobar and Adam Frazier are both intriguing, but could be somewhat sought after. I think if Madrigal is indeed down for a while, you definitely make a trade for either of them. OF: Ketel Marte (double) Joey Gallo Charlie Blackmon Starlin Marte Mitch Haniger Thoughts: This is where it gets really interesting IMO. Blackmon should be had for basically nothing. The only reason he isn't a White Sock right now is $$$ and how lame this teams ownership is. Rockies should be willing to give Blackmon up for just about anything. Starlin Marte is IMO the best of the bunch. He should also be cheap, but if enough competition comes out and he keeps raking, his cost could go up which leads me to think that the Marlins are holding out on any trade here until the deadline. IMO, that would be too late for the CWS. Joey Gallo's ship has sailed. Padres have interest in Gallo and there's nothing the White Sox can do to compete with their deals/farm.
