QUOTE(aboz56 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 08:28 PM) No one should be surprised at Crede's slow start. It's been that way for a few years now. He is a notorious slow starter. What concerns me is that he make the plays defensively in the field and hit .250. He is obviously not the long term answer at 3B for us, but we've just got to make due until Fields is ready. In the meantime, I'll root for Crede to get it together rather than starting an Anti-Joe Crede fan club. I wish him well while he is on the sox... but he does suck. -

Should be a rule that we cannot call him crede unlees he gets over .250 at the very f***ing least. It should just be cruddy or crud. -

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 08:09 PM) f***in' crede... Too early to bench crede, Ozuna at SS and Uribe 3rd? Ozuna can play third and short stop is uribe's best position. -

Jay Williams coming back to the NBA next year?
qwerty replied to Jabroni's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 04:44 PM) Duhon's also a FA. Jason would cut into the LLE which is 1.5. I don't know if Pargo will be here after this year considering he got little time. I also don't see Frank Williams back. He'll be taking their money. Othella Harrington will probably end up with the team taking the MLE(at least part of it). Resigning your own players does not cut into the mle i believe? If that is the case we would have nothing left after resigning both chandler and curry. I know we have the full mle for free agents next year. -

If you think of pedro when you are thinking about santana you are looking at the best pitcher in th elast decade. Guess that does not mean too much at this point. Santanan may not last long because he gave up four runs in the very first start and very first inning of the regular season? Sorry that just made me laugh jugger. Be hopeful all you want it is not very likely. -
Nothing like sample sizes.

He is a cancer and does not want to win.

Glove wise he's doing just as good a job as Clayton. He's a big part of the wins. He plays third of course it would be lower.

QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 11:41 AM) Well they could probably keep both. I would sign Jay as a 3rd PG. Is williams worth cutting into our mle? That is the question. I think we are set at point guards with duhon and pargo and another third string guy if you wish. We need thhe mle for a bigger body. -

QUOTE(rangercal @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 04:07 PM) OT: Qwerty, we would like to find those dunking on shaq pics. Someone mentioned randy brown. I think he is actually right, can't find that pic anywhere though. http://community.allhiphop.com/showthread....11&page=1&pp=25 On this forum they discuss it and they keep going back and forth about brown. But they also named other guys who did it. I am st ill not home ( check my ip adress for all i care) so i cannot look for them... pictures are hardly showing up on this piece of s***. -

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 03:56 PM) Trust me, the Bulls can win with Tyson starting and davis coming off the bench. It's ridiculous to think they'd be worse that way. In fact, they would be better. I know Skiles is comfortable with his rotation and won't change it since it's been effective, but you don't know basketball if you think the Bulls would be worse with Tyson starting ahead of davis and getting more minutes. YOU'VE BEEN SAYING TYSON'S NUMBERS WOULD BE CLOSE TO BEN WALLACE'S WITH MORE MINUTES! Are you just disagreeing with me for the sake of disagreeing? I also would like to see Ben in there a little bit more, and earlier, provided his defense continues to improve. Let's face it, the future is Ben and Kirk, not duhon...This applies to when we fall behind early and have to climb back up... Lots of teams can matc antonio davis off the bench but tyson chandler? No. WHo else can bring a ben gordon off the bench? How about ben gordon and tyson chandler both off the bench? We get the lead with our bench not with our starters. I know i would pay davis 12.5 million something close to that this year and 14 million next year to come off the bench. I know, once more i should not care about money should just become a clippers fan, blah blah blah. Two years from now you will have yout wish but it is not coming any sooner unless davis gets injured. -

They are both clearly wrong since it is a fact that curry lost weight and chandler gained weight. Most likely they have never been updated. -

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 03:52 PM) Yeah, the whole "Eddy might die on us" s*** was ridiculous... He's obviously going to be put through all of the necessary tests to assure that he's worthy of a contract. He's not the first to have that happen to him... It is not ridiculous... every gm that has interest in him is thinking the same thing. IN the long run they would not be f***ed but for that year they would because they would not be able to get the money back. -

QUOTE(rangercal @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 03:50 PM) you guys were bashing curry before the irregular heart beat. But never from your little group did I hear : "wouldn't Tyson be a risk to sign?" If I was on a contract year my back would be fine too. Just like how magglios knee is fine. The irregular heart beat and his weekly flu is something to be concerned about, no? In the back of my mind i always think chandler may be a risk... every time he hits the floor i think oh damn he is gonna be out. -

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 03:48 PM) Eh...even that's questionable. I've wanted to see Eddy and Tyson starting together all year. Damn skiles and his silly rotation... Silly rotation? Omglmaowtf!1!1!1!1!1. I know that you actually think his rotations are bad and that deserves a... :headshake
