  1. Steelers did it in 2005 and then beat the #1 seed Seattle in the Super Bowl(thanks to the refs, I know I know).
  2. Steelers-Packers. Should be a hell of a game, especially if Aaron Smith and Maurice Pouncey are back.
  3. Thank you Jets. Belichek always makes Tomlin look like a mental midget in preparations.
  4. This is two completely even-matched teams that are mirroring halves so far. Steelers are down 4 OT's now, just ridiculous.
  5. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jan 15, 2011 -> 04:21 PM) Does the NFL really want a multiple times accused rapist in the Super Bowl? Agree, they probably want the murderer.
  6. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 15, 2011 -> 03:55 PM) Refs helped out Pitt on that drive. How there was no late hit call a few plays ago is beyond me. I guess you missed the personal foul on Hines Ward for letting Ed Reed tackle him by his face mask?
  7. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 14, 2011 -> 07:29 PM) Where'd you end up getting married? Man, that brings me way back. Crazy how we all grow up. Been years since the days we'd chat on AIM, haha. It was a place called Pine Creek Gardens. It was an outdoor wedding and was a ton of fun. We got married 10/10/10 :-).
  8. I love XM radio, I bought a subscription after my free year ended. It was a huge help in two road-trips to California we made in the past year and a half. Typically I just listen to Pandora or Rhapsody at work, but it's always XM in my car. As for Navigation, I just went with Google maps on my Droid and it was also a huge help in the road trips and driving around unfamiliar areas in Cali for my wedding a few months ago.
  9. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 13, 2011 -> 11:35 AM) Not once they have public charging stations though, right? Problem is that even with 240V outlets, it would take something like 4+ hours, correct? Edit: just read about level 3 charging stations that could power a Nissan Leaf to 80% power in 30 minutes, that's a nice improvement.
  10. 1. GMC Terrain 2. Range Rover Even a new Land Rover would do :-).
  11. Pat Knight, as classy as his dad. "I've done everything I can do...Players should get fired, not coaches...It's on our seniors."
  12. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 9, 2011 -> 12:13 PM) Eric Berry getting owned by Todd Heap. Entire Chiefs secondary is getting abused. Eric Berry might be the worst blitzing safety I have ever seen. Wow.
  13. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jan 6, 2011 -> 02:33 PM) Sort of some inside info on Jabari. This is second hand from a person who spoke to Robert Smith (Simeon's coach). Jabari was the first sophomore Coach K has offered a scholarship to and Coach K told Jabari he would help make him a one-and-done player. Furthermore, Smith said that they like Illinois, but Duke is Duke. Nike is a client of the company I work for, so we do have contact with the Chicago HS B-Ball coaches. Take it for what it's worth though. Not dispelling your story, but Coach K has offered many sophomores before Jabari. Here's one in JP Tokoto for instance. http://test.wissports.net/sports/hoopsb/bl...&id=1058128 That's one facet of his recruiting tactics that has annoyed UNC fans over the years.
  14. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 4, 2011 -> 02:32 PM) Sources: Panthers to pick Andrew Luck Already giving up on Jimmy Clausen. There's a wasted pick. They are just posturing for a king's ransom from Denver. I bet they get it.
  15. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 2, 2011 -> 02:34 PM) The only reason I would think it could be is because TCU is going to the Big East and so UConn has some big competition for the automatic bid now. Maryland is doubling Edsall's salary. He should be making at least 3M a year at Maryland. UnderArmour shelled out some big bucks, but it wasn't really for a big name. I wonder how happy they are.
  16. Leach to UConn, he will be very close for his lawsuit against ESPN.
  17. Edsal to Maryland. Got a nice chuckle over Leach being passed over again.
  18. QUOTE (zenryan @ Jan 1, 2011 -> 07:03 PM) lol, nice onside attempt. No kidding, what the hell was that?
  19. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 31, 2010 -> 03:28 PM) The Big 12 and the Big 10 look very comparable this year with the exception of the dregs that are Tech (sorry PHF) and Oklahoma. I'm honored that Tech is even mentioned. Pat Knight has done the worst coaching job of anyone in the nation this year. He took a likely tourney team with 7 seniors on the roster and turned them into a 6-7 squad on the season. Fans are dying for Billy Gilispie, but our AD is retiring in May, so we seem to be stuck with Pat for the rest of this miserable year.
  20. Don't get me wrong, Butch Davis and his coordinators are some of the worst in-game coaches in all of college football. He's the epitome of all recruiting, not much coaching going on. His rosters will fill up NFL rosters for years, but he will continue to win 8-9 games at max each year at UNC.
  21. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 31, 2010 -> 01:25 PM) I'm surprised this isn't getting more play, but a reporter in the press box is saying that after the game, the UNC coaches "sprinted out of the box screaming 'Sloppy Top, Sloppy Top, you'll always be assholes to me!' You want to talk about disappointing? That's absurd and incredibly immature. Aren't coaches supposed to act with a little more class than that? Did they also report the Tennessee coaches running out of the press box screaming "Nana Nana boo boo, stick your head in doo doo!" I might have missed that article as well. Sounds like awesome reporting.
  22. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 31, 2010 -> 12:36 PM) Yeah, I agree. I think his celebration was a little overboard at the end, but I've never seen him do anything like that before. Clearly his emotions got the best of him, but I'll chalk that up to him being a TRUE freshman. He's 18. I'd rather he show a little confidence/cockiness, though, than mope around so I'll take it even if it was dumb. He's a hell of a player and Tennessee has a ton of young talent. I was just disappointed with Dooley's whining, and that was before the craziness of the end of the game.
