  1. UNC DE Robert Quinn ran a 4.38 40 today at 6'5 270. He ran a 4.51 40 last year and blew everyone's mind by besting Julius Peppers 40 time of 4.52. UNC's defense is going to be absolutely insane with 5 potential 1st round picks this year.
  2. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Apr 25, 2010 -> 07:25 PM) Who are Tuberville's offensive assistants now? Offense: Neal Brown, OC, was OC at Troy Matt Moore, OL coach from Leach's staff Sonny Cumbie, Inside Receivers coach, former Tech QB Tommy Mainord, Outside Receivers coach, was OC at Lamar Chad Scott, RB coach, was RB coach at Troy Defense: James Willis, DC from Alabama as LB coach Sam McElroy, DL coach was Tarleton State's head coach. Robert Prunty DE/LB coach, was Hargrave's head coach. Travaris Robinson, DB coach, was Southern Miss' DB coach S&C: Joe Walker, was assistant strength coach at Auburn Neal Brown and James Willis should be head coaches in 2-3 years.
  3. I can't imagine if the Thunder sign Bosh or even Haywood. They have 3 draft picks from 21-32 that they can keep on rookie contracts for several years as they re-sign Durant, Westbrook etc. Their future is ridiculous. Westbrook-Durant has a chance to be a Stockton-Malone type duo.
  4. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Apr 24, 2010 -> 02:48 PM) NFL.com shows nothing about him... not even Height or Weight lol He was a 5 star recruit coming out of high school and committed to Texas, but had troubles at UT and ended up moving to WT A&M to finish his career. He's about 6'8 320. WT has a great D II program and has several NFL guys now.
  5. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Apr 23, 2010 -> 09:09 PM) That's why I was very happy to avoid the Celtics in the 2nd round. Yes they played like s*** in the 2nd half of the season, but they can still turn it on when it matters. Their 2nd round series with the Cavs should be fun to watch, and hopefully it takes a lot out of which team makes it thru. Miami has been absolutely horrible, but still should have won 2 of the first 3 games. They were up double digits late in the first game and collapsed, then blew it again tonight. The Cavs should absolutely have their way with the Celtics. The Cavs don't have a coach that goes to a 2-3 zone when Ray Allen gets hot, or a coach that doesn't foul Pierce at the end of the game with a foul to give. The Heat got Spoelstra'd again.
  6. You might see the first head coach fired in the midst of a playoff series. Eric Spoelstra is hilariously bad as a coach. He needs to go back to video manager.
  7. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 22, 2010 -> 09:14 PM) Holy f***ing s***. I just shattered the f*** out of a light in the hallway in my dorm just now. Seeing Brady Quinn sit behind Tim Teblow makes me literally want to murder someone. He can't make it past the Vikings at 30.
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 22, 2010 -> 09:12 PM) hilarious. I can't wait to see him fail. I'll never understand that sentiment.
  9. Thank you Cowboys for keeping Bryant away from the Ravens. Whew.
  10. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 22, 2010 -> 08:34 PM) Nd QBs don't exactly have a good recent history... Much better than OU's QB's have fared. Hell, OU, ND, UF, and Texas haven't had much QB success in the last 20 years.
  11. Steelers take Pouncey, yipee. At least the kid making the pick was awesome to see.
  12. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 22, 2010 -> 08:22 PM) OL Mike Yupotty? Crabtree will take a diarrhea on Singletary's face. Looks like it is Iupati. ugh.
  13. If the 49ers pass on Clausen at #17 I'm going to go punch them in the face.
  14. Latest rumor is Ben and #18 pick to KC for Cassell, #5 pick, and 2nd rounder next year. Steelers apparently really trying to get up to #2 and get Suh.
  15. NCAA about to approve 68 team NCAA tourney. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=5125307 Haven't seen the details, but I'm guessing 4 play in games. TruTV huh. You can catch Matt's crazy antics on Operation Repo and then a 2nd round NCAA game. Solid.
  16. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Apr 22, 2010 -> 10:54 AM) I'm baffled at how they can take players from other organization and make them improve more than the home grown talent. The scouting and development in the organization was absolutely awful for many years. Our failure rate with 1st round picks is absurd. The overall production from our system has been hilariously bad over the years. The only saving grace has been the fact that Kenny has snookered other GM's into taking our prospects for some proven major leaguers. Hopefully Buddy Bell can cleanup this mess of a system over the years. I'm really watching to see if guys like Trayce Thompson, Gilmore, Phegley, Viciedo etc take a step forward this year.
  17. Steelers apparently in talks with Oakland about the #8 pick.
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 21, 2010 -> 01:00 PM) "Guilty even if proven innocent" Pretty funny when compared to the Ray Lewis, Albert Haynesworth, Michael Vick suspensions. As for Ben's worth, he's a franchise QB entering his prime, locked up long-term with all of his bonus money already paid off by the Steelers.
  19. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Apr 21, 2010 -> 11:36 AM) Oakland! Wouldn't that be perfect! It could make sense for both sides. Oakland gives up the #8 pick and Nnamdi Asomugha for Ben.
  20. Steelers fans are FREAKING OUT because Ben has apparently been put on the trading block for a top 10 pick. One team is apparently interested, and I'm guessing it's Seattle or Oakland.
  21. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Apr 21, 2010 -> 05:51 AM) Yep a top defensive C is pretty much all they need to go to the next level. Maybe they'll try to develop Mullins into that type of player though possibly. Collison's a damn good defensive PF as it is, but he needs help on that regard. As for their draft picks, they should definitely try to trade up, as they're already pretty deep as it is. I know the Heat will be looking to move Beasley as well. How about... Miami trades Beasley Memphis trades Thabeet Thunder trade 21, 26, 32 picks. Miami gets picks Memphis gets Beasley to replace Gay Thunder get Thabeet
  22. Pretty scary how good Okie City could be in the next few years. Just signing someone like Haywood for defense at the center position would make them championship contenders. They also have 3 draft picks in the 21-32 range they could package for a high first round pick. Demarcus Cousins or Cole Aldrich would be very good fits.
  23. 20 fouls for the Heat, 5 for the Celtics. This is hilarious.
  24. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 18, 2010 -> 05:57 PM) Any chance a volcano can erupt in Florida making it impossible for Ozzie to fly back to Chicago? Or they can give Ozzie a very long vacation.
