QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 5, 2010 -> 10:21 PM) When Duke wins, he deserves a ring. Gordon Hayward's twin sister could have played just as good. It's sickening, if he could just pull his head slightly out of his ass Butler would be national champions.

Veasley is an awful, awful basketball player.
-
Stevens might finally figure out that Veasley has no chance on Singler.
-
Veasley, come on man.
-
How was Howard a Horizon POY? Did he get some brain damage that caused him to play like a maniac this year or something?
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 5, 2010 -> 09:47 PM) No kidding...I feel like I'm the only person who thinks Singler is awesome now. I just don't understand keeping a 6'3 kid on him that is clearly in over his head tonight(Veasley).
-
How do you leave Singler wide open time after time?
-
Veasley is garbage. Hopefully he has a big 2nd half. Butler is shooting like crap again, Duke is on fire, and only up 1. This game has been a ton of fun to watch.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 5, 2010 -> 09:05 PM) Not as bad as Howard's first 10 minutes. Veasley is 1-7 with no assists and 1 turnover. Howard is 0-4. Neither is doing anything.
-
Veasley is singlehandedly costing Butler this one so far. He's having a miserable game.
-
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 4, 2010 -> 09:43 PM) No chance. Butler had the hardest road of anyone to get to the final four. Yep, Butler already beat Syracuse, KSU, and Michigan State. I can't see Duke scaring them. I don't know how Butler will handle Zoubek, but maybe a miracle will happen for a Butler 3 point shooter going off like McNamara.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 3, 2010 -> 10:24 PM) Would either of these teams have any chance to win a championship in the last 20 years? I'm struggling to find a national champion I think either Duke or Butler could beat. Don't hurt yourself trying, it won't happen. This year is the weakest in history. But Duke is the tallest midget.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 3, 2010 -> 07:35 PM) Close games and upsets are 100% the reason the NCAA tourney is so popular, nobody watches it because there may be pro-caliber players in the game. Some of the best NCAA games of all time featured players that never sniffed an NBA career. Gotta disagree. Close games are fun, but when it's such low quality basketball it's not all that exciting. Similar to watching a high school basketball game where the players are trying hard, but the score ends up 39-36. This year has been the worst quality basketball I have ever seen. The last second shots are exciting, but the actual games themselves are horrible to watch. I don't mind if I'm not watching future pro players, but when you are watching games like this where a team shoots 30.6% from the floor and is about to play for the national title, it's pretty bad.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 10:18 AM) Recent tweets from Mark Titus within the last hour I really can't see him staying, I mean Turner would (should) be a top 3 pick if he came out. As a college bball fan i'd love him to come back and OSU would have to be a top 2 team next year pre-season but I just can't see it happening. You would have to be dumb enough to drive your motorcycle into a tree to return for your senior year as a consensus top 2 pick in the draft. Sorry, one more shot at a dookie. -

Fitting crappy end to the game, Rhode Island got screwed on the last call. UNC somehow has 20 wins on the season now. 80 shots taken, 68 points for UNC. -

QUOTE (zenryan @ Mar 30, 2010 -> 12:17 PM) Has anyone regular poster come back here since their team was eliminated? Are you missing a few words in that question or has Heads been giving me booze? Anyways, I think you are talking about Jimbo, and I haven't seen him around. -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 30, 2010 -> 07:48 AM) Well, you do have to admit, that's an offense with some weapons, if you put someone with talent in at the organizing position. They have a few talented guys, but overall their OL and WR's are below average. I would not want to play behind that line unless they grab an elite OL at #8. With Al, they will probably take Taylor Mays in the first and Bruce Campbell in the 2nd.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 29, 2010 -> 06:05 PM) Still remember watching our 1-0 win over Cleveland to start the wonderful 05 season at Murphys in Champaign. I had gotten there at 11 AM prepping for the NC game that night. Damn you Sean May. Shh, or Sean will eat you.

Jordan Crawford should have been on there over a few of the guards like Collins and Reynolds. -

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 28, 2010 -> 09:39 PM) Because there's a much greater chance he joins Wade in Miami than coming to Chicago, because he has a superstar to play with. Of course if Miami signs Amare instead, that's all moot. Rose is good, but he's not at that level yet. Amare isn't a free agent is he?
